Gecko Moria decided Luffy was going to go to the central island after Wano. It gave him the most freedom to not get stuck on dead end islands. He had one of his zombie suboordinates he had consensually recruited from a poor Wano citizen go to the left hand island. They didn't encounter Shanks. They instead encountered the man with the burned scar and found a poneglyph so Gecko Moria would be able to become the Pirate King. The man with the burned scar stayed close to Wano because there was no other way he could be found. He had decided to make it a one in three chance that he was found, as he had always believed that the three ancient gods known as Pluton, Zeus, and Poseidon would reincarnate and pursue the Truth Piece that unified the world, after which they would conquer three of the oceans so they could rule them in peace while leaving the last ocean to ruin. Then Luffy didn't show up. He decided to kill himself so Blackbeard didn't suck his soul out and destroy it for risking letting Luffy getting the One Piece he called the Truth Piece. It was an understandable decision for a man who had been named Nothingness by his mother. Also, Gecko Moria got killed by Greenbull in Wano before that. He had been stabbed in the head by Greenbull's plant tentacle. He instantly revived himself with his shadow and teleported two kilometers away. He then thought silently to himself "You should have aimed for the heart." He had regenerated with his shadow's powers. Then Gecko Moria repeatedly teleported to his ship across his chain of bi-resonant shadows. It took thirty seconds for him to teleport 20 kilometers to his ship that he had needed to make invincible by giving it a Shadow Skin Barrier that made it immune to cannonfire. As soon as the Marines had failed to destroy it with a cannonball they had given up and left it alone, telling themselves that Adam must have wanted this ship to survive, just like Luffy's ship, which they had never found, as Luffy had been a coward. Gecko Moria decided that sparing Luffy was worth it. Luffy had only punched him into a ship. He must have wanted his soul to survive. He then realized Luffy had been a killer as he was willing to punch him into the ocean without realizing it. "You should have changed your name to Money-Haver Dreamer Luffy, as then you would have let Nami think that you needed to demand 2 billion Beri from Dressrossa. Then you could have bought Pluton from the Marines. It would have been worth it. Oops." Luffy then said "Fuck off, loser. We would be assassinated by Bartholomeow Kuma under Ivankov's orders because we had too much money to join the Revolutionary Army and Sanji had refused to join the Revolutionary Army after stating that he felt that she was going to ask him such a question if he did not state it within one minute's time of meeting her. She had said it would have been two seconds time, as she had expected instant loyalty from all invisible assassins or else she would be worthless and dead. He then said "One milliseconds time." She then said "Will you join Sabo's Liberation Movement instead?" He then said "That seems wrong. I will not do so. Luffy is no longer Sabo's brother. Sabo is spared because of that." Then Sabo said that he would participate in her disgusting ritual of letting women attempt to make him cease to have ever existed as Luffy D. Dragon had just told him about through the True Voice of All Minds. Otherwise, he would cease to exist. She then said "Not a heaven believer? Too bad. Heaven is now fake. I would have said you were spared. If Zoro eliminates Mihawk, you have to just kill yourself and self-annihilate. Too bad for you. Also, that's his spiritual destiny at this point, as he was always a worthless-Hmm. That's why Luffy didn't state his dream on panel to liberate all souls into immortality that he could liberate after becoming some sort of immortal god king of the world once he killed all Yonkou enemies and helped Sabo liberate all nations. Everyone thought it was cool except Zoro. They were all mind controlled. Nami should then have said "Do you love me, Luffy?" "He would then have said "Yes". She would then have said "You did not love me first. You only saved me. You were just a savior of my life, Captain Luffy." Then the One Piece manga would end.
