The dragon hint is interesting...

I think we'll eventually have a Killin/Chinese dragon fruit, and that depiction seems to match it. I think Loki would be a good candidate, but given his current situation, I guess it's pretty unlikely.

I do hope that dragon hint is about the egg and we get an actual natural dragon introduced into the story. Would be cool to see something mythical that isn't DF related especially considering all the magical stuff that's been getting introduced in the last couple of arcs.

As for the one with the man and the sandal I have no idea what that is supposed to mean? Simplest guess is Luffy and/or Gaban takes off their sandals to get serious in the fight.

Considering the setup last chapter was of a luffy-gaban scuffle I'd guess the more natural development for that hint would be for scopper to be a a sort of dragon. It relating to the egg could be interesting though. As in, the dragon shows up to back up scopper. And it's been safely living in elbaf since it hatched.

Or he is hiding his massive pet dragon in the castle and summoned him out to play, which caused the roof to be blown off. Same pet dragon that hatched from The egg. What better place to keep it hidden for twenty years than remote land of Elbaf.

Wouldn't surprise me if he shows up and the sheer amount of ACoC Haki just sends him right back. Like how Joyboy's Haki cancelled the summoning of the Gorosei.

Wouldn't exactly be an effective way for Oda to approach the main villains of the entire arc.

I would guess Gaban gives up. he is just trying to test Luffy/See the Nika fruit in action. come to think of it, all of the Roger Pirates would know all about Joyboy and his powers and would be dying to see them in person. So I would guess Gaban is doing this for those two reasons, a test and to finally see what they learned about.

But I think the Gaban and Luffy situation is not a matter of giving up, since the former has they key and asked latter to take it, if he thinks he can. Either Luffy can take it or not and I don’t see Luffy giving up.
So I still think it‘s rather related to the third God‘s Knight.
