Lulz, still trying to play the Urek doesn't know what Phanta is card when the history of Phanta and the universe is right there.


No, Urek knows full well what Phanta is and what he himself also is.


Saying that a Luminous one wouldn't know about the history of Light and Darkness, that's Lulz worthy.


Zahard and the rest of the irregulars who aren't connected to this story or history? sure, they don't know anything but Urek does.

All this Urek wank and all I see from the translated chapters is that he is one of the shinning ones, compared to those who surrendered, not that he is the strongest shining one or anything.

Anyways, there are NOT 6 shining ones. There are a bunch out there, and the 6 strongest Phanta took for himself. So there’s a race of people out there working for Phanta.

opens up possibilities of who else could be a shinning ones out there.
i have an idea of someone else who could be one. The only person so far who has defied the tower completely outside of Phanta.

Alright, I finished the six chapters. I'll admit it, Urek is cool. The Koreans are probably going to clown on Bam even more now because of this spinoff though. The Ray Barracuda aura farms and gets wins.

That's sort of the issue, yeah. Urek is cool and all, but this all makes the MC of the actual main story look even more irrelevant and useless than SIU's hitherto wart-ridden portrayal of him already had.

It's not a whole race, the light created many things and many life and from everything it created came 6 specific beings who stood at the top of creation and ruled it for ages as the strongest causing chaos as stated.


If there was a whole race of em then waiting for a person like Urek to be born would be pointless as they could pick anyone from a flock, so there are in fact only just 6.

The problem is that he's eventually going to go back to Baam's story and (if past trends hold) do the same old crap that pissed the readers off so much to begin with.

It is also sad that we are 6 chapters into it and there are only Urek Mazino and Headon as common chars with the ToG. It is tempting to think that the girl who thanked and blushed Urek at the fisherman test is probably Baek Ryun )

Honestly, I don't think so. Of course, the whole story of the regulars becoming the brightest was a joke, but ToG at the end of the day is one of the biggest comics in Korea, the famous "speak well or speak badly".

The point is: SIU clearly regrets having said some things in the past, which is normal, people change every day, their ideas too. Phanta still doesn't appear in the main story so far and perhaps not even in this spin-off, after all we only had a context about him because he's part of Urek's lore.

At the end of the day, practically everything that was debunked in the story were blog posts, that is, at the end of the day it is not official. A book author I follow does a "question and answer" on his discord, from time to time he gives some relevant information, but he always makes it clear that until it's in the books, it's not a fact. Of course, to this day he hasn't contradicted himself, but that's kind of the case with the SIU.

But FH have been boring and lackluster (pun intended) since they started appearing.

I'm not even talking about strength here, but about personality, they look like characters from those CW series.

This SS is interesting for world building, theories and stuff but ultimately it's Urek's story. I don't think people should try to find too many ties to Baam. They do different things in the end. Urek is an occasional helper in Baam's quest and there is a lot of lore to discover even about the Inner Tower.

I think U misunderstood. TOG is indeed too big at the moment. Even if the writing goes worse like Khun killing Edahn, we will see it to the end. Just that it won't be received well. S3 has some lowest rated chapters. From the spin off, we can be sure SIU does care about the ratings. Or else he wouldn't have drawn Phanta like he originally planned not to. Maybe he would have but not right now. The fact that spinoff is before S4 shows he wants to test the waters. All these radiant stuff are canon. While it's not part of main story, it's still relevant.
