As long as you keep it civil, go wild here.

Feel free to use doubles players or "Come on, Ryoga is clearly the final boss" or "Medanore scales with Volk" as arguments. As long as it's reasonable, it's fine.

For the moment, I'm sharing the list from the other thread as a base, but please include other players that did not fit the other criteria.

Idk why some players are strong in singles but weak in doubles like Ryoma. Or Vice versa like Oishi and Kikumaru who are strong in doubles but relatively weak in singles.

Meanwhile,

Players like Duke, Bismarck and Tanegashima are good in both.
Being only good in doubles makes sense. You specifically play a style that allows you to cover for your partner and have them cover you. So in Singles, you lose that net.

Ryoma made sense with sucking at doubles because it came down to him wanting to return every ball so he got in his partners way.

We see he can overcome it when he plays with Oliver because he is in control the whole time / has matured.

Kin is weird to me. Guy has massive reaction speed and court coverage, yet he's bad because he can't decide where to hit it. This is despite being a power player who has not problem hitting it at the opponent

Honestly we don't know that. We do know Ryoma and Fuji both doesn't stand a chance against Tezuka according to the coach and Ryoma is G5 level without a doubt. Kintarou PoP is on par with Oni who probably can beat Romeo. And that Kintarou also doesn't stand a chance against Tezuka.
After the Atobe vs Romeo match the narrator states there the strongest MS.

I am confused about that. Because Ryoga is a Mser too. LMAO. Or maybe even the narrator forgot that he is not Hser

Anyways, imo Kintarou surpassed both of them when he played.

And obviously Ryoma will too.

Which chapter is this? I simply find it hard to believe that either of them are better than Ryoga.

Narrator also call Bismarck Germany #2 despite QP existing. I am not sure how reliable is it. Unless we are to assume Bismarck can shut down Oni like QP does despite struggling with Tanegashima who seem to draw with pre-PoP Oni a lot and that Bismarck barely beat that version of Tanegashima before his ultimate void upgrade.

Actually, I find the chapter. It say right before that "He's right up there with Kunimitsu." as well before the line. The strongest MS line is clearly outlined to be simply "People are speculating"

Considering Ryoga exist, unless Tezuka and Romeo both surpass Ryoga and the likes of Ralph already, the ms line is extremely effy. And it's just the people, that's just the audience of U-20 cup.

So that leave "He's right up there with Kunimitsu.". So claiming he's outright stronger than Tezuka doesn't seems right.

Please give source then.

Also, since it's at the end of the match, I take it you think both of them surpass Ryoga already?

As I state before, if it's narrator alone, then apparently Bismarck surpass QP that already evolved in his Oni match as the #2 of Germany and pre-ultimate void Tanegashima also surpass PoP Oni and Kishin Duke as well as current Tokugawa.

The narrator text are normally written by editors and not the writer.

I mean if it's accurate then Atobe and Romeo both would already surpass Ryoga and by extension Ralph and Amadeus and seems like probably Medanore/Volk/Tokugawa/Byoudonin as well as most people put Ryoga down as the strongest in the tournament period.

I don't see it. I think it's probably a reference to the line in chapter 390 about how people think Romeo is the strongest MS in the tournament and up there with Tezuka.

But maybe Atobe and Romeo already surpass Ryoga and everyone Ryoga beat and would have beaten by extension. Who knows.

Simple Explanation: No one knew Ryoga was Mser. lol

We included. In fact, he was listed Hser in USA iirc for some reason.

Doubt it because Ryoga just lost one point to Romeo as he used Materializar on him, showing his only and greatest fear is Ryoma, and just when he was about to get serious and consume his tennis Medanore stopped the match. Had the match continued longer, Romeo would have lost.

I even doubt current Romeo has any chance against him, just because consume doesn’t have a counter yet, and the only one who has said that can play normally against Ryoga is Medanore, until we see how Ryoma counters it too and how Medanore is immune to its effect, Ryoga is the strongest currently (just surpassed by Medanore).

Romeo a power up that made him go beyond that lvl. And even then needed Atobe body to breakdown to continuenot getting walked over.

We don't know how many people Ryoga saw.

Then it doesn't really matter because that would show the same info that was represented in the previous chapter where people think Romeo is up there with Kunimitsu and speculated that he's the strongest MS.

I don't see anything Romeo had that's is confirmed to not be able to consume tbh. Ryoga just had to do that and he's finished.

I wouldn't take the narrators' words at heart. It was probably talking about Romeo as "the best MSer" as a title rather than a statement of his strength. It's a matter of reputation, he did win the European tournament without dropping a game and was the team's S2; whereas Ryoga is pretty much an unknown player for everyone.

He can't touch it because he was shitty and super suck at doubles.
I don't think there's a definitive answer for this rn.

Zeus is stronger than Tanegashima
Tanegashima had a big upgrade since their match.
