It might be common interest but to me its clear Rocks set the vision and agenda of the crew. He also seems to be respected in his strength since the rest of them are following him. The world knew them as the Rocks pirates which clearly shows he is the leader in some capacity. They don't have to like or be friends with Rocks for any of this to work. Even in BB crew its clear they respect Teach's strength and vision.
They definitely didn't see him as weak, otherwise a non aggression pact wouldn't be worth anything. We did see their arrival at god valley and Whitebeard even outright told xebec he ever agreed to receive orders from an idiot like him (paraphrasing a bit, adjust for translations accuracy). Let alone that the rest of the crews's attitude was something along the line of "Get out of the way or die".
Are we going to see another round of Davy Back fights? Perhaps, that is how Rocks managed to get such powerful but dysfunctional crew and he was on the island to acquire Harald?

It's honestly exhausting seeing these Mihawk upscale memes because Mihawk doesn't do shit and his fans need to leech off any crumbs they can get their hands on lol.

Honestly, I don't really see Kid as that much different that Loki. They both seem like guys who felt they got shunned and disrespected a lot in their early lives, so they roared and fought back towards the world as a response.
So if Loki is really like Kid, then we can expect him to side with Luffy against the bigger enemy.

The Raihan rape face being turned into Mihawk. Guess Mihawk was very happy and eager to fight someone. But since this is from Worstgen, I don't thnk I can think of it in the same way I do Redon.
The goofy one to me seems to be the idea of someone failing upwards. So, despite how precarious things are, it just works out. Very metaphorical one, I think. Unless we actually see something like that happen, but that invokes the idea of Nika so I don't think so. Metaphorical everything works out, or luck of the devil.

So putting it all together, this is quite a weird sequence of events. An early clash between Whitebeard and Rocks makes sense to me. I'm going to guess that Rocks fails upward or is very lucky.
I really like the idea that a Davy Back Fight could have been the foundation for the formation of the Rocks Pirates.
It makes sense that the crew was made up only of powerful members, since winners of the DBF can choose whoever they want to join them.
That also explains why, during the God Valley incident, they said something like "Shut up, Xebec you're not our captain". It implies they weren’t loyal to him, just bound by the outcome of the DBF.
Overall, it's a compelling idea, only true pirates would live by the law of the sea and honor the results of such a game!

This might sound silly to some, but I genuinely think Garp and Roger are a bit overhyped.
Roger was just a notch above Whitebeard, and Garp, at best, was on Whitebeard’s level.
That alone doesn’t convince me they could take down someone like Xebec by themselves if he is really that strong. I really hope there’s more to the story.
Sengoku wasn’t even there when he talked about what happened, all he knows is what Garp told him. And honestly, I don’t think Garp revealed everything. There’s definitely more to that incident than we’ve been told...
Whether Xebec is dead or not, his legacy might be the key to elevating Teach to true final-villain status. Because let’s be honest, right now, Teach still feels too weak to be the main antagonist.
That Xebec flashback isn’t just about the past, it’s a glimpse of what Teach could become. And I still believe he’ll be the last villain we face… not Imu.
