This might sound silly to some, but I genuinely think Garp and Roger are a bit overhyped.
Roger was just a notch above Whitebeard, and Garp, at best, was on Whitebeard’s level.
That alone doesn’t convince me they could take down someone like Xebec by themselves if he is really that strong. I really hope there’s more to the story.
Sengoku wasn’t even there when he talked about what happened, all he knows is what Garp told him. And honestly, I don’t think Garp revealed everything. There’s definitely more to that incident than we’ve been told...

Whether Xebec is dead or not, his legacy might be the key to elevating Teach to true final-villain status. Because let’s be honest, right now, Teach still feels too weak to be the main antagonist.
That Xebec flashback isn’t just about the past, it’s a glimpse of what Teach could become. And I still believe he’ll be the last villain we face… not Imu.

N somehow why people never mention whole Riger crew at God valley as if Rayleigh n Gaban cannot handle some Xebec crew, not to say some of other Roger can string enough, even in SH robin, franky, Jinbei are strong for their own, how can Roger being stronger with only 3 strong fighter?

It's definitely similar to how law and kid were with luffy however with the caveat that law was already luffys friend and kidd is at least more friendly with luffy than rocks was with the rest of his crew. WG was arguably the most decent guy in rock's crew and there's no reason to think he had any love for xebec. If big mom was friends with rocks then that means she cared for him more than she did for her actual sons and daughters.

Oh yeah I'm not making the case they liked Rocks at all. Just that they respected Rocks strength enough to follow him. Rocks is the leader and whether they complain about him or not, the rest followed his agenda. At this point even the spoilers confirm he got them under his command via Davy fights/challenges so he clearly just out powered them and they followed unreluctantly.

It's why I mentioned the Sea Kings and VOAT. Because they seem to know what's up. Oden and Roger had it too, so I wonder if they are getting their predictions from the Sea Kings/Sea itself.

Joyboy likely got done over by a snake from Rocks/Joyboy's bloodline. Obviously they are all D clan, but I think the Rocks bloodline all try to take the world for themselves, and their ancestor effed Joyboy over to try take the world for himself, but that failed and got Joyboy killed and Imu won.

Rivals does imply some sort of level playing field. They don't have to be equal but if its one sided, are you really a rival?

The implication for a while has been that there's "a time" that will come when the world will be flipped. Roger for instance knew he was about 20 years early as well. The series basically has a timer which is slowly running out and no one can do anything about it. What it is we don't know yet.
