#8. Constant fanart posts just for the sake of praising a favorite series is prohibited, this rule doesn't apply for official art by Jump artists posted on social media, they're fine to post.
#9. Don't discuss or hype chapter spoilers before Sunday release, only comment if is related to a series surviving status and do it only inside the spoiler tag.
#10. Regarding rule #9, an exception will be made for when we have new series, in this case, spoilers will be allowed only for the first 3 chapters of a new series for the users who are interested in knowing informations and details about the new series, these spoilers will obviously be kept under tags to protect anyone that doesn't want to be spoiled, so don't worry about it.

Why they would resurrect Jump Direct only to reveal a random volume cover for Kagurabachi or a popularity poll results that will be published in the magazine anyway? The only thing so far worth a Jump Direct is announcing Black Clover is ending next GIGA issue, and even then i dont feel like Black Clover has the enough popularity in Japan right now to warrant a Direct, it needs something bigger lol

I dont know, years of consooming JP "hype" programs tell me not to trust anything but a KGB announcement

Ahh, I see. Well, you’re partially right about new talent, but you have to remember that there was a large amount of veterans that came back to Jump, and those artists did fail. Since you brought up the amount of new talent that aren’t veterans, I will post a list of how many there were from 2020-present, along with veterans who failed 1-2 times and if they are back or went somewhere else and the veterans who had a hit who came back and others from outside Jump. This is to ensure how much new talent have been coming in and the expected aspect ratio of successes and failures. But keep it mind going into the 2020’s there are two eras regarding the EiC’s, the Nakano era and the Saito era, and we are currently experiencing the Saito era in year two.

That is a fair point, to be honest I don’t remember what has been showcased in previous Jump Directs so I don’t know what the precedent is in terms of how likely anime news is compared to other things.

I feel like it’s really early for Gege to be jumping back in the author seat after modulo unless he was already scheming ahead before Modulo started. At the very least if they’re announcing another one coming soon then I suspect it won’t be Iwasaki as the artist back-to-back, after how much he sounded like he had been put to the grindstone during Modulo’s run with all the colors.

They are already scheming ahead though. He author note when ch 1 was released was about him wanting new works/franchises coming out of modulo. And he does not even need to be in author seat. Another person can be author and he just supervises. From what modulo ending implies, the new story gonna be set hundreds of years later so it will not really impact his og jjk story.

Jesus, are we really going to start entertaining the idea of Gege coming back with yet another JJK sequel not even 3 months after Modulo ended? Jump isnt a spinoff manga magazine, just kick Saito out already if he's going to reduce the magazine to JJK spinoff series lol

Moving the goalpost at its finest lol you talked about the anime not doing anything but it did increase Yozakura sales in a pretty decent way.

So take advantage of this time to finish the manga, after all, he already resolved 80% of his issues in the Black Parade arc.

It takes more than an anime to make a manga that only sells 10K copies a success.

I'm not being defensive, you're posting misinformation saying Yozakura didn't increase in sales at all with the anime and i'm correcting you, it did, it increased at the point of beating Akane, Witch Watch and at least 2 The Elusive Samurai volumes in the Yearly sales of 2025, a whole year after S1 ended:

Don't think they will announce something as mundane as vol 3 release / cover in that event. So it got to be a new JJK spinoff. Modulo pretty much setup newgen JJK spinoff MC to fight like Tsurugi

And it cannot be modulo anime because no way they have it before whole JJK ks adapted. That will be dumb.

I think it’s most likely volume 3 cover. I don’t think they’ve ever announced a manga months ahead of a new batch other than Samurai 8. Especially if it’s a spinoff, they'd probably just reveal it during the batch like how Modulo was

I hate Yozakura Family so I hate to defend it, but what a dumb argument. Not every series is an Ichi the Witch. There are varying levels of success and Yozakura is definitely a successful manga.
Especially given the manga is definitely catered towards the younger end of the shonen demographic who are either magazine readers or digital buyers which makes the print sales not matter as much.

This Jump Press being this close to Nue's birthday with nothing from it means there's likely no anime announcement anytime soon and it's making me all kinds of pessimistic. Saito's management sucks so much, hate it. Feels like he actively punishes fans if they liked the "wrong" manga even though he should be pushing everything under him.

Ichi is also aimed at a younger audience.
It's not a kagurabachi, which is more serious. Ichi is more adventurous, however, it also has a similar audience to yozakura.
