Urek having light powers was most likely something SIU came up with during break imo. Hence we see no hints of it in baam time line of events.

I doubt that. UM was always shown to be special. The fact that he was able to destroy the mountain without shinsu was something I couldn't believe a GW could replicate it. The fact that he never learned Sbhs which allowed GW to differentiate themselves from towerborns.

Not denying urek's speciality but I am pretty sure the light power concept was not there when he was writing OG TOG. Not once we were hinted about the light powers.

Yeah. But I think there were signs in the sprout arc. For instance, Mirchea declaring himself as darkness in front of UM. When V attacked Traumerei, UM said if only I were a Lightbearer. Those seems wordplay to me.

Likely because of course Urek wasn't fighting them yet, they stole most of his power from him at some point but they never got to experience or know how powerful that version of Urek they stole from was.

They fought a very much weakened Urek and still lost badly, all six of them in the past.

Urek at some point as a child grew so astronomically powerful and beyond them that nobody has any real Data on what he was at the time.


Their best Data still comes from the version they stole from.

Theory: I think Baek might belong to one of the races cursed by Zahard. The crescent moon first appears when he tries to defend himself against UM, and then again in this chapter when he has to demonstrate his power and mastery of Shinsu. It’s possible that the curse is triggered every time he uses Shinsu. Baek is therefore likely searching for someone capable of breaking it. This would explain why he stayed on the second floor for so long: perhaps someone predicted that a person would one day come to end his curse.

In chapter 1 of this spin-off, it was implied that there were other individuals who could use light outside of the shinning ones. The emperor is probably one of those guys.

But entire reality was created by light yet fhs don't have such power at all , hell lets give a benefit of a doubt and lets say they are from universe named Z yet in Talse there was no universes but only one yet FHs still have not their own powers from their Galaxy or universe named Z like shining ones so it doesn't work like you have said

In the blogposts it was said the that GWs used a type of energy called “air” on the outside. It’s blogpost info of course but it shows that SIU had planned to give them powers outside shinsoo initially. So they probably had a different energy they used in their home universe(but obviously it’s nowhere near as strong as shinsu).

Nowhere it was said that it is energy Air , it was said that outside of the tower there is no shinsoo , there is only Air and nothing about power or energy at all , oxygen exists outside we all knwo that because humans need that so there is no problem

so it doesn't work still , gws literally have no power and if they did then they shall not come here because urek while he has light he is immortal and can live ten bazzilion years and mago and all those people so why settling inside of the tower ? because they are weakling ants , and if there was any power called Air rachel would use it and wouldn't want to climb tower ...

No he didn't say it was energy. People in the Tower breath thanks to Shinsoo too. Ashul learned about air, tried to understand how it works thanks to the GW's comments and created weapons they were used to but compatible with Shinsoo.

True, but an idea isn't Data.

It's not like they can feel the limits or how deep Urek's sea goes, nobody got to experience anything like that and they're genuinely nowhere near close to him in power at the point he was in the past in the first place.


Hence why they can only compare him to the closest and only thing they felt to be like him which was of course Phantaminum.

They died after stealing Urek light and lost it most likely, either fighting between themselves, with Urek or possibly even Phanta. Aurbyon for example wasn't at full power when Urek killed him in the past, so i doubt Urek is the sole responsible for them losing the seemingly infinite light they stole back then.
