No, it falls under negligible force in the rules of the game:

Violent conduct

VAR was used equally. They are checking the game constantly. They correctly didn't interpret that either of Egypt's dives were fouls and as such didn't call the referee.

What the coach did wasn’t embarrassing for sure given the praise he gets everywhere.

Egypt lost the lead and lost, no excuse could change that but denying them the injustice is doing them wrong. There is a guy who literally slapped a guy in Egypt team but that wasn’t even mentioned. A legit red card.

I think he was overwhelmed by what happened. I don't think its embarrassing to the degree you would cringe about it.

I'd say lot of key changing elements in this match where created by sheer favouritism and they were all for Argentine. well maybe im wrong but thats how i see it. Cancelling a goal, VAR double standards and many unflagged fouls.

Let's say I agree: the big scandal in this game was perhaps a missed yellow card (and VAR cannot call for those)? That's what everyone is correctly complaining about?

I just showed you in the rules exactly where it says it should not be a red card, but a subjective yellow card.

The same rules that say:

"A player or team official who commits a cautionable or sending-off offence, either on or off the field of play is disciplined according to the offence.

The yellow card communicates a caution and the red card communicates a sending-off.

...

A player must be cautioned, even if the goal is disallowed, for:

• removing the shirt or covering the head with the shirt"

And Zico was NOT handed a yellow card for his celebration in the invalid goal.

So yeah Argentina got robbed. Brb sending a complaint to FIFA.
