#5. Don't post news about series from other magazine or publishers in the WSJ thread, post in the series own thread, but it's fine if you're mentioning other series or magazine to express a opinion or reflection about Shonen Jump.
#6. Any tweet, specially japanese, about news, update or some interesting thing about the magazine or series has to come with a text of what that tweet means and also be on topic, if not it's going to be either deleted or i will edit the post.
#7. Refrain from self advertising or advertising Youtubers videos in the comments.
#8. Constant fanart posts just for the sake of praising a favorite series is prohibited, this rule doesn't apply for official art by Jump artists posted on social media, they're fine to post.
#9. Don't discuss or hype chapter spoilers before Sunday release, only comment if is related to a series surviving status and do it only inside the spoiler tag.
#10. Regarding rule #9, an exception will be made for when we have new series, in this case, spoilers will be allowed only for the first 3 chapters of a new series for the users who are interested in knowing informations and details about the new series, these spoilers will obviously be kept under tags to protect anyone that doesn't want to be spoiled, so don't worry about it.

Kiyoshi's only had the two anniversary covers so far, it would be nice to see it get at least one normal cover non-anniversary non-anime announcement before it ends.

I see them shoving HxH into 3rd last to pretend Class 2B is doing better. I really wonder how HxH actually performs in the surveys, 10 chapters per run means it technically is around for 3 survey results but placements don't matter for it so I've always figured Jump just shoves it wherever.

Tbh it would be hilarious for them to bank the surveys from the last batch. Imagine the 2018 chapters determining where the 2022 chapters ranked.

There are exactly 0 metrics that back Kiyoshi doing "extremely well" with the surveys. It's the worst selling manga of the magazine, has the worst digital sales by far, has basically no presence online, doesn't get any type of fanart or merch, etc. It sells well enough to keep on the magazine and should be properly rewarded with marketing and a few color pages, but I don't believe for a second in the invisible kids that love Kiyoshi more than the other stable series.

Hey when the anime comes out and the series starts outselling kagurabachi, and then is brought back into the magazine for a Seiya style heaven arc, stay on that side.

Legit the reason why it gets so much color pages and support it just does well in reader surveys. If it did poorly this series would have gotten axed ages ago.

You literally complain all the time about Saito being unfair, but as soon as it's a manga you like getting treated well, the TOC is perfect. It literally makes no sense and I don't understand how you don't see how contradictory this argument is for over 2 years. You can't say Saito is overrating Shinobi Undercover and lowballing other series and then say "Oh, the TOC is perfect and fully represents the readers interest" when it's about Kiyoshi specifically.

It either is or isn't.

He pretty much showed how much favoritism he gives to the series he prefers when he axed Kill Blue and Chojo with anime in production, something no one else does, and picked Kiyoshi over Kill Blue and Astro, when both always sold better than it. And no, the argument about growth is absurdly flawed, it in fact literally never grew enough to outsell them and was getting outsold by their post-axe volumes even.

I'm not against keeping Kiyoshi now because he axed everything that could be a threat to it, but it's honestly more delusional to think it's a massive hit and the TOC is the pure representative of popularity ignoring all other visible metrics, that work fine for EVERY other manga in the magazine.

I think Cannon Master is enjoyable, but I have seen no reason to actually think it has a sizeable silent voting base so far, and with no color page next week, I'm going to guess it also opens somewhere in the middle of the TOC. If it does, probably means this is another batch that is going to get propped up by the flops already clogging the bottom before dropping like a rock once the previous flops start getting axed.

I really hope the next batch has something that gets me super invested. I've had some fun with new series, but I haven't felt any passion for any since, I guess Hero Girl technically, but Someone Hertz is the last new series I can say I really love and would be heartbroken if it got axed.

There's no favoritism lmao! Who said Saito picked Kiyoshi over any series? Astro ranked bad for most of the time, i don't even know why you're bringing it when you know very well the magazine have always been survey based over volume sales for newbies, you're holding into editor words as if they're literal when everybody knows is just exaggerated, the series is popular, it does well in the surveys and that has been more than obvious for a long time, you're reading WSJ, the magazine that don't care about axing giants like Kishimoto or Sorachi, why you're acting like they're giving special treatment for a newbie with no history? My goodness, it's over 2 years already and it's very likely getting a anime soon too, it's time to stop

For an adventure series, the manga is heavily character focused. I think the extreme lack in worldbuilding is a big detriment to the series. It's very shallow despite all the cool setup in it's world design.

There's also no proper goal in the series. Bharat and Ur are just training and moving from town to town to help people in distress. The story is still on auto pilot.
