Because of Zahard's ability to see and manipulate fate, it is very likely he knew Traumerei was going to loose to Gustang (and die), but sent him regardless because he wanted to weaken Gustang enough for Adori to deliver the final blow. If this is true, Zahard is more cruel that I had initially assumed

zahard cannot see trillions of things so zahards future seeing / fate controlling means nothing he is just a clown in the end
and zahard cannot even see V , if he could he should have killed baam so zahards future seeing is literally nothing , it was something for the past that he could see and could control but in reality he canont do anything
the guy couldn't even see that he'd loose bracelet and the guy visited hidden floor after urek destroyed the scale only for the Bracelet but even that he still lost
