Man, if i was ever a writer / director contracted to do a live action film adaptation to naruto, I would just do a Hashirama/ Madara film and call it a day.
That would be dope. And honestly, I don't know if this is a hot take or not but I actually liked the Madara/Hashirama relationship and dynamic more than the Naruto/Sasuke one. Don't get me wrong, I like the latter since the series is built around it but the former was more compelling to me and in only 5 or 6 chapters

I remember someone posting that. Man, now am curious to see if this second entry is going to win or we get an even better one shot in the competition. My big concern for Banchoism is primarily that I think Kuroko put too much influence from MHA in his one shot Heroing but his very first one shot was very unique:

Ohhh see @Phantom RPG , the 2 authors that i praised and said to keep a eye, Iwakami Sango & Tanakura Jou, are currently being pushed by Jump or making waves online, seems like i actually have a good eye 😅
Yeah, quite a surprise indeed to see you get these two authors right.

Now am very curious to see your review of jump giga summer to see if you get three in a row now. Just do not get too confident, overconfidence is a slow insidious killer if memory serves me straight.

Man, if i was ever a writer / director contracted to do a live action film adaptation to naruto, I would just do a Hashirama/ Madara film and call it a day. It's already difficult to find a good teenage actor/actresses, i don''t know how these people not find the thought of putting a blonde haired asian kid in live action to be an embarrassing idea.

Seriously.
- MHA = All Might movie
- One Piece = Roger Movie
- HxH = Phantom Troupe Movie
And who on earth would watch movies like that? Only the most die-hard fans—and even then, I have my doubts.

A live-action adaptation, on the other hand, needs to aim for the widest possible audience and, if possible, draw them closer to the original work.

Imagine saying all this after resident evil. As long as it has the naruto name in the title, the jutsus, and the headbands, people will know what movie they’re watching. You just need to make a good movie to pique their curiosity, and they will come for the source material. Also, a live action adaptation about a blonde asian kid isn’t exactly going to appeal to the widest possible audience. Diehard fans will nitpick every detail while a fresh audience might be put off by how cringey it looks. Sorry but it’s the truth. There’s a reason why some things are better suited to a 2d medium.

The irony is that a Hashirama movie is probably the one that would appeal to the widest audience.

It would be a clean slate for everyone coming in to watch.
- a war torn setting that actually lends itself well to a live-action movie.
- an adult ensemble cast
- no need to waste time on a long build up to get to the action. You can show all the variations of jutsus and how far the scale of a naruto fight scenes can go in just one movie.
- edit: costume designs (no characters are gonna be caught wearing modern apparels like jumpsuit, t-shirts or shorts.)

Enjoyed Chojo's first episode. It's pretty much the manga, but with voice acting and music, aspects that help a lot with comedy. It's not a sakuga showcase, but designs are very close to Numa's and are well drawn, I'm satisfied.

Every Jump OP is legally required to have a dance in it now.
I would bet that at least half of the shows every season have Tiktok dances in their OPs or EDs. I can't blame them because there's always a chance that your show could do well if the Tiktok/Youtube Shorts algo gods bless you and the dance trends. Mashle's second OP changed the whole industry. lol

Kagurabachi for sure won't have any dancing at least and I don't think Nue will have it as well for the OP... ED I could see it if they go for something focusing on the girls.

If they go for a dance for Nue'd ED, at least make it Idol themed

And most anime still somehow miss the trick Kekkai Sensen got down like a decade ago. Save your dances for an ED where it can serve as bookend relief. Always ten times more effective and memorable that way imo, like Lost in Paradise.

The axe itself makes sense, it ranked terrible for a long time while selling 10k/11k, what doesn't make sense it's axing it while a anime was already decided lol

I don't care what anyone says, I'll consider Numa a hit Jump mangaka, he got his own anime now and has more than 160 chapters in the magazine. He for sure has his name in Jump's history just like all other authors that got their anime.

Those Ruronin Kenshin movie are like the only LA films that don't look cosplays. (They make their crazy hair colors look like their natural hair)
It's also extremely well directed. I was in awe when i first saw it.

There's also the 90s GTO film.

"b-but what about those onepiece netflix show-" nah, it was terrible. I will not let anyone say otherwise just because of all the paid reviews (jk maybe)

The problem is that this isn't what casual fans want and casual fans make up the majority of a fanbase. When One Piece anime adapted the cover stories, they supposedly ranked terribly in terms of viewers because people wanted Luffy. Apparently its common for most manga (except I guess Nue LOL).

I agree, anime openings are only 90 seconds long & as such, their time is something to be used wisely as it often serves as the viewer's first impressions of the series, meaning that there should be as much relevant info as possible in there to manage audience's expectations for plot & tone. Putting a random Tik Tok Dance in the opening is a detriment as it can break immersion by tonal whiplash & alienating viewers, especially those who watch as a means of escapism, & from wasting time on something ultimately superfluous instead of using said time for something more important, unless this OP is for something like an idol series or a fluffy high school rom-com, where dancing would be expected.
After the episode, you can go as silly as possible for the ED & no one would really care too much about it, especially as a means to help viewers give time to process a dramatic bombshell at the episode's final scene.
