Well, he did say definite, so that means the amount of times that character who play together and it’s not a complete stomp and one side obtain an upgrade and they play evenly after that in the series must absolutely be only 0, so I'm basically simply waiting for him to confirm it before I show anything.

I mean... if it happen in the series before and someone apparently love this series and analyze everything about and know everything about it, then there is basically no excuse for not knowing the amount of times it happen before in the series and there is no reason to claim that something that the series contradict before is definite to be a certain way because they know it wouldn't have happen in the series ever. But of course, there wouldn't be such a fan, because a fan would know the series.

For me personally, Romeo is equal to Tezuka, but with his upgrade Romeo might indeed be slightly better. But to see how much his upgrade might impact this, we also need to see how it impact his match with Atobe. Atobe and him was pretty even at the last set. The last score we've seen is 6-5, making the two side relatively even. Romeo activate his upgrade in the end of chapter 402, but Atobe is stated to already be injured in chapter 403. Injury do decrease performance and Atobe is struggling with the pain according to the chapter summary. Of course, there is a chance that maybe Atobe is struggling with pain but playing 100% as he would without the pain and drawback of the using his future power that the manga mention doesn't matter to him, but for me, I don't think that's the case.

But despite that injury which should hinders his performance and no more upgrade, Atobe suddenly somehow play even with Romeo after Romeo catch up to the score with him. We knows that players stabilizing after opponents upgrade and play evenly after is pretty normal in this series, and if needed I can even find proof, but ONLY if the other side doesn't read Prince of Tennis because anyone who read PoT would know that. Andddddddddddddddddddd oh wait, I guess the amount of times that character who play together and it’s not a complete stomp and one side obtain an upgrade and they play evenly after that in the series must absolutely be only 0 still. Do I even need to go to find other matches for an example?

Is Romeo last upgrade so significant he dominate the injured Future! Atobe? Would uninjured Future! Atobe be able to do better against Romeo last upgrade or worst? That same Future! uninjured Atobe that play an extremely even last set versus Romeo at 6-5 score? Is there a missing translation or chapter somewhere missing between chapter 404 and 405? Do Atobe get last minute upgrade that explain why he suddenly can play even with upgrade Romeo?

Romeo might get an upgrade last minute, but what the last upgrade manage to achieve doesn't convince me that he is DEFINITELY better than Tezuka beyond any doubt when he can't even pull ahead of an injured Future! Atobe that he play evenly with before when Atobe isn't shown to get an upgrade to catch up to him after Romeo's upgrade. But if there is a missing summary or chapter and Atobe does get an upgrade to match up with Romeo last upgrade then I apologize.

Why are you ignoring Atobe Future Sight upgrade? It's just shows how massive upgrade it truly is Since even with a power up Romeo still needed Atobe body to breakdown.

Which chapter do future sight upgrade occur and after which point do Romeo upgrade happen?

And that doesn't change what I say here at all. You're the one that's excellent at ignoring points.

The power up Romeo received is not significant enough. We do not know how it may work against Tezuka.

If it is significant, then please provide proof of how exactly how significant it actually is, against that injured Atobe.
--- Double Post Merged, ---

Also, can you just answer my question. Do the case I say ever happen in the series? Or is it 0.

If it happen before, please explain how if something like that happen before but for THIS particular comparison Romeo is DEFINITELY better than Tezuka?

If it doesn't happen before, I'll take it if there is an evidence of it happening then we will know who actually read PoT. Not that you never bring up fake evidence before, of course.

Guys, do you want in the far future.

That there might be a movie or maybe Sequel.

And the script will be Professional Tennis.

Wimbledon, US Open, Roland Garros, Australian Open?

Remember, We know Tezuka will win Wimbledon in the future. Meaning, Tezuka is more comfortable in grass than hard/clay.

I know it's some sort of battle shounen and the tendency it's to keep going bigger and bigger, but I'd rather scale down and go back to the basics. Have mini stories to see how different players and schools are doing next year or something of the like.

would love to see Fudomine and the others, but I am also interested of the school the high schoolers attend and how high school teams go about so we have comparison to the middle schoolers.

If I remember correctly, Ryoma will not be back on Seigaku right? He will focus in US?

Maybe, he will participate again in US Open. He was implied he lost albeit good performance.

Tezuka will be a Pro in Germany. And he will win Wimbledon.

Ryoma only won some regional tournaments before PoT and that's kinda that. We don't really know what he did before the U-17 camp. The US Open finals match Vs Hewitt is anime only.

But, he was in USA right?

Oh. And there is a plan that there will be a movie or special ova about that time gap right.

Though, I wonder what will be the plot of that. Also, Ryoma's level of play should be the same as his level in first days of U17 Camp. So below Genius 5 or maybe below Genius 10.

Before the camp? The players got massive boosts during it, and they commented that every day they felt improvements. For example, after a week Atobe was at 18.5 total, then finished the camp two weeks later at 23.5 (he was likely around that vs Ochi-Mouri). There's a big chance Ryoma pre-camp would lose against Mitsuya or someone in that tier...

I don't think this needs a thread. But I just thought Zeus Mt. Olympus Aura can be obtained by any Greek players right?

Sedah (reverse name of Hades) achieved it. And it was implied he came from Greece thru his interaction with Zeus in the past.

In official fanbook, Greece also has a player named literally "Hades" (Different from Sedah) who can use Golden Aura or something. I think it is also related to Mt. Olympus?

Niouu was able to use it thru copying Zeus. However, it is countered by Bertie without tricks used (like Tanegashima's bottle cap trick)

Nah they are all different auras. Herakles had one too.

Only Sedah and Zeus had the same one.

Unpopular Opinion: The U19 WC year in the story we followed is weird. Very random inside universe.

1. They just randomly decided to add Msers.

2. And even worse, each country are FORCED to use 3 Msers in each lineup. (There are always 7 players in a match lineup. So 4 Hsers and 3 Msers)

And after all that. 3 years in the future. Apparently, they scrapped the 3 Msers rule.
Because we saw the Japan Finals lineup and it contains Ryona, Fuji, Sanada, Akutsu, Atobe. All are Hsers 3 years from now inside the story.

And another mystery and question we have. We know the last WC was 2 years ago. But in the future, it will be after 3 years. Lol. Like how?

PS: Sorry, Can I add some spoilers here?

Yeah there's nothing to spoil here.

I don't think it's an unpopular opinion. Whoever stops for 5 seconds to think about the dumb rules in this tournament will come to the same conclusion. Konomi even changed the format from D-D-S-S-S to S-D-S-D-S for A SINGLE ROUND in semis then changed it again in the finals so Ryoma would have the last match lol.

He also changed when the next WC will be played a couple of times. The last one was 2 years ago, but the next one will be in 3, but it was also stated that Mouri will be a leader figure in that WC (even though he won't be a HSer in 3 years).

Konomi didn't really know what to do with such a big cast of Japanese players (and enjoyed drawing the ones he introduced). He went back and forth with the composition of the team, going from one big G-20 to 2 different teams to the 28 player lineup we ended up having. I'd had preferred the G-20 solution (not like he extensively used all 28+ players anyway) and highlight that this Mser generation in Japan is really special and that's why they are playing in a tournament amongst older guys, instead of it being forced to every team for whatever reason.

1. Byoudouin
2. Tanegashima
3. Duke
4. Tokugawa
5. Oni
6. Ohmagari
7. Kimijima
8. Kite (Tohno is injured)
9. Atobe
10. Niou
11. Yukimura
12. Kawamura (he'd get injured instead of Gin, replaced by Fuji?)
13. Ochi (Kabaji expelled)
14. Kintarou
15. Oishi (later replaced with Ryoma like in the Nationals)
16. Mouri (switched with Niou)
17. Yanagi
18. Kenya
19. Momoshiro
20. Irie

Maybe have Chitose/Tachibana in 18/19 somehow and give their spots to Shiraishi/Kirihara respectively as Konomi intended, though it's unfair to Momo/Kenya.

With this I'm only missing a spot for Sanada and Akutsu... Kite could easily be axed since he didn't do anything lol. Kimijima could be cut for conspiring against his own team I guess.

Could also have a lineup of exactly 21 players and keep the rule that everyone has to play in the group league.

If I remember correctly. You theorized long ago that WC could have been yearly. But It seems not the case anymore. Hehe.

I guess Konomi thinks Msers after 2 years are not that good. Who are even left aside from Ryoma, Kintarou, and Akaya?

I can only think of Zaizen of Shinten, and Hiyoshi of Hyotei.

We saw Ryoma, Sanada, Fuji, Atobe and Akutsu in the finals in 3 years, so the MSer rule was scrapped and only used in this tournament, so it kinda doesn't matter.

If the WC was played every 2 years then the 1st and 2nd years would have 2 more WCs to play (since, for example, Ryoma will still be a Mser in a wc in 2 years).

Yes. I meant only Ryoma, Kintarou, and Akaya are world competent in their batch. That's why Konomi adjust it to 3 years and scrapped Mser rule.

Since he doesn't trust their other batchmates like Zaizen, Hiyoshi, and that Rikkai new captain.

FINALS (U19 WORLD CUP)

2 YEARS AGO - Germany VS Switzerland

CURRENT YEAR Japan VS Spain

3 YEARS FROM NOW- Japan VS Germany

Lmao. It seems like Japan and Germany are powerhouses. And Switzerland and Spain kinda just had their Cinderella runs in a specific year.
