Maybe? If he isn't at full power after leaving Marie Geoise then mayby, just mayby that's all he can pull off without actually killing himself. He mentioned going back home right after he seemingly (I hope it only look like he did) taken down Loki so this must be it, his limit. I wonder if he will try to finish Luffy off before going. If he will then depending on how much power Luffy have in his current state this may be huge mistake on Imus side. Also I really hope Luffy will go back to his senses soon. We seem to be in final moments of this arc so it's better if sudden plot twist like that will get resolved quickly.

Yeah - it's clear now that - Imu power output display is the only REASON -For him to come back to Mary Geoise , he is in life danger because out of that fucking castle he can't be in his true H.P Lovecraft form .

Look at the sheer size of this thing - his staff is fucking piercing the sky - he looks like at least 2 to 3x time bigger than Loki - and he looks absolutely FAST - a thing that big just did a "rapid sword draw" instance - and one shoot Loki !!!

That does not look like any of the goetia demons. But the way its put on the page does remind me of the style of drawings I've seen in books on hermeticism.

Well yeah, that's why he have his minions. Because he can't put everyone in the line by himself. I also feel like he just dosen't want to bother doing all of this on his own. Ruling from the shadows is convenient after all.

Thing is for me, the last time we saw Luffy, he was begging his heart to keep going because he needed to stay if the fight. And then, I belive he went. "Hmm?" indicating that something happened.
If the fruit is taking over, it's probably just doing Luffy a favor. It's doing what Luffy begged it to do. Possibly. In this interpretation.

As fort he monkey form, I feel like given that Luffy can turn into a genie, Luffy can probably turn into multiple animals if he needs to. It's monkey right now, probably due to how many attacks are associated to primates, his name, and also maybe an homage to Sun Wukong/dragon ball, so and so.

But yeah, after seeing Luffy as a genie, he can do anything.

I do not believe the primates are associated to Nika, deific symbology wise. I think the form only exists because of Luffy's nature.

Given that Nika ist regarded as an ancient God it comes with no surprise that he has a strong will that takes over a rather freshly awakened user at some point. I wonder if this is going to lead into some sort of dialogue or fight between Luffy and Nika or if it is just Nika trying to save his latest vessel / user from perishing to Nika's apparent arch enemy.

Regarding the monkey form, I mean jumping around like crazy is something easily associated with a monkey so original Nika being a Mink-like monkey is something to at least be considered. On the other hand a tail should have made it into legends at some point, so maybe this is something tied to the Monkey clan after all.

On a different note I don't really see Imu's latest form resembling the devil depicted on the mural, so assuming the mural is more than a rough sketch I dare say Imu has yet at least one more form to show.

Yeah- I'm with you there - I would dare to say he could have at least 2 + forms that he o ly can use

I think he could have a "perfect" form - like a "miniature" of what he is now, but with a design similar to himself 1st form - but more godly - and the last form with 10 horns ( if what is in the Mural in the back of his head are indeed horns)

I don't think so - he actually don't bear any resemblance with any "demon" as portrayed in Goetia or Solomon Key's - but he resembles totally a Devil God, Lovecraftian Elder God's - and ofc - A Menos Hollow !
