Given that Nika ist regarded as an ancient God it comes with no surprise that he has a strong will that takes over a rather freshly awakened user at some point. I wonder if this is going to lead into some sort of dialogue or fight between Luffy and Nika or if it is just Nika trying to save his latest vessel / user from perishing to Nika's apparent arch enemy.

Regarding the monkey form, I mean jumping around like crazy is something easily associated with a monkey so original Nika being a Mink-like monkey is something to at least be considered. On the other hand a tail should have made it into legends at some point, so maybe this is something tied to the Monkey clan after all.

On a different note I don't really see Imu's latest form resembling the devil depicted on the mural, so assuming the mural is more than a rough sketch I dare say Imu has yet at least one more form to show.

Feels like this is possibly hito hito no mi model nika's fully awakened form, with the previous white hair iteration being sort of half awakened. It might have come out because it got ripped from its slumber sensing Imu's fruit power.

Black Myth Wukong story - Sun Wukong got defeated by the Heaven Court - and got his self splited in 6 relics - his ears, his mouth, his mind, - and then you play as the destined one - a "clone" sort of thing that journey is to conquest those relics - and in the end you turn into Sun Wukong again

Looking at the chapter I think we are headed to one out of two outcomes. Both involve imu retreating of course.

1.- Imu reaches the end of his line and retreats along with sommers and killingham before they are killed.

2.- Luffy overcomes this trial, comes out stronger and confronts imu again who is progressively weaker. We probably get to see bonney turn into nika again. As luffy confronts imu we see sommers and killingham finally killing the knights of god which causes imu to retreat.

I do think something should happen to prevent elbaf from being attacked again. As in, something to prevent the gorosei from simply appearing on elbaf.

Then I kinda expect a training arc for the strawhats. Luffy, zoro and sanji need to master their conqueror haki. Zoro and sanji might need mastery of basic forms of haki. Jinbe should be good haki wise but robin, ussop, choper and brook need haki as proper martial artists. Nami and franky kinda get a pass because of their styles.

Ah, I forgot about that plot point. I think it's straight up lily panties which imu will want for reasons.

I hope so much for this training arc - it would be a dream to see they fighting each other (zero & sanji vs luffy - luffy vs loki etc)

And I think it will happen the n 2 - I'm convinced that - Zoro will kill Killingham and Sanji Sommers - I'm seeing killingham and Sommers crossing paths , and by distance both killing the most near H.K I. The same page - headcanon total

So I did call it, that the box had something in there to help Nika/Luffy utilize his abilities better..
For as impressive G5 has been with stretching the laws of physics,Luffy’s imagination & reality..IMU has made all of that look trivial with what he’s capable of.
The golden Headband would be dope asf!! But seriously, the Wukong similarities have been foreshadowed for so long! I’m estatic Luffy has another depth to his abilities

I think Sanji & Zoro may have to help Nika chill tf out!! I don’t think this Nika is gonna be so well behaved what so ever.

Been a long time
20 years here and another power boost for luffy sanji and zoro

and this one is probably hinting oda has two more for luffy anyway so…I’m expecting something goofy and crazy all the lame spoilers almost ruined the chapter

Gotta say, it's pretty disappointing to finally see loki's hybrid form only for him to get one shot like that. This feels like oda planned for loki to at least last a bit and then changed his mind to rush into the zoan luffy stuff. I suppose it's possible loki is not actually out.

Actually, Lokis size problem caused by fact that in his dragon form he burn a lot of stamina makes me think that mayby Imu have same problem. As he change forms he's getting bigger and bigger so mayby there's a price to pay for all this power.


Btw, I don't know what problem some people have with Loki. His hybrid form is really cool and intimidating. The thing is Oda introduced it like well, like THIS. Apparently he was fighting Imu for some time in this form but hype kinda just died because we seen Loki taken down immedietly after showing his power up. Seriously, I really like his design. It even look like starting from his head/helmet he have some kind of armor running along his spine. Though it look little weird that his hair got divided by that "armor". But still, I'm happy with how he look.

It's his secondary Hybrid form though so we haven't seen his primary one yet.
