I think this is my most anticipated anime of spring. I can't wait to see the anime interpretation of the manga ^_^ Also looking forward to the Special A and Itazura na Kiss animes too. Oh yeah, Zero x Yuki ftw ~ even though he was a bum in ch 37.

I know, seriously...I can't wait for the anime to come out. ^^ Also, I'm glad the voice actors are the same as the ones in the Drama CD. Otherwise it'll feel weird. And Ch. 38 is coming out on March 24th!! Can't wait for so many things, lol.

I like it because I can relate to the characters.
On a serious note, what got me to read the series is actually the character design. The drawings of a series always draw me in or push me away.

Yuuki is not a pure blood from what I remember. She was purposely brought in the Kaname family as his sister to become his wife.

If i remember correctly they said thats why the vampires taste/feel Yuuki blood is delicious and thats why Rido (i think) said something about Kaname being fake heir

I still think that Kaname is a pure-blood. Nobody ever doubted that he's a pure-blood and I think you also have a special kind of "aura" when you are a pure-blood and I don't think that you can fake that.

-Yuki is in fact a pure blood. Her parents are Haruka and Juri Kuran. Both are pure bloods.
-Juri Kuran was the one who erased Yuki's memory so she could become a human in her mind.
-Rido said that he is a "fake heir" because of the conflict in the Kuran family. Rido is supposedly the true head of the family, being the elder brother of Haruka Kuran.
So it is Kaname who we don't know about. Juri and Haruka are both "Yuki's" parents, not Kaname's. We don't know Kaname's parents. It seems he was the one who was adopted, and given the name "Kuran" without actually being a Kuran.
This also explains why Rido thinks of Kaname as a "fake", because he actually is one.
