I just finished my 1 week course for teaching English as a Second/Foreign language. The class was booooooring as hell and almost everything that was taught there can be cognitively learned by common sense. Nevertheless, I have to attend the damn thing (coz I paid thousands for it ).
Last Saturday, I just finished doing a demo teaching to some kids (which went well compared to my classmates) and now, I'm in the middle of doing a ^%&*^ing assignment longer than writing a 100 page thesis!!!!!!! I am just ranting but then I need to finish the assignment to get my certificate. *sigh*

BTW:

I just learned how high racial discrimination is with other nationalities when it comes to teaching English abroad. All they want to hire are Native-English Speaking Teachers. And anyone not coming from a native English speaking country cannot apply (especially in Japan or S. Korea). DISCRIMINATION!!!!

@BSS- man, just do what i did... apply at that online korean ESL company, work there for 8hours, go home, and get lots of money! it's 100/hour, x1.5 on some holidays, x2 on national/ religious holidays, and no work on korean holidays (which hapens every month, except for november). the perfect attendance incentive is 1k, and you salary can be raised if the company likes you.....all you have to do is sit infront of a computer and talk for 20mins/student (you'll get lots of free time too!!!)!

"heavy regional accent" raw! but i answered all the questions quickly, and i know its wrong to rant about this but i really feel that i didnt fail! damn it! my co-interviewees were a depressed 30 something woman (she cried when she failed too) and they picked the old guy who obviously is having a midlife crisis ("i have a family, two kids, i need this job"), damn OJISAN! they didnt pick me!!!! fuck!!!! i ripped their fucking result sheet.... shiiiitttt im so pissed right now.....

no not american, i have a filipino accent, kinda like............. when you listen to chiz escudero, i think that's how i talk, english with a pinoy accent. but still man! im really pissed cause i was so confident that i'd get picked, and that confidence doesnt come often.... ah man.... im going to abscbn tomorrow.... i really want to work at convergys tho, highest pay... shit damn ojisan you ruined my future! at least he gets to feed his kids

i asked the interviewer that. they said that they make sure that every employee becomes an agent first. then you get promoted and stuff. hmm... maybe that did it? i dont know... maybe they thought im not serious to be an agent? ah fuck that dude... im searching another job... my unlucky day
