@comic: what's up with that, so what if marvel creates an inaccurate comic about filipinos. this reminds me of the time filipinos just snapped at dattebayo when it was all just a misunderstanding. our people thinks everybody is racist that we are becoming more racist than them

Defensive reflex. Totally gay man. Remember the Hindu bashing Myers' new film when all they've seen is the trailer? Or the Da Vinci Code that made an uproar when most people do not have any idea what the story is?

That must be nice. But somehow after college I've longed for the quiet life. LOL. Maybe I had too much of those nightouts and parties in college that living here in the mountains (I just got back, btw) seems like a new thing.

tsk tsk. This is different from the DB issue, yonie. Like, DB's a fansub group. This is a MARVEL COMIC.

And the entry wasn't a flame about the comic, but a criticism. He points out that for a company as big as marvel, they could have afforded to RESEARCH even just a little bit. And I so agree with him when he said "seems like they didn't even try". So if that was the case, what does that say about the writers of the story? When even short story writers do research. It's protocol.

EH! I didn't see anything wrong with the heroes. If they're badly referenced to our folklore (or whatever they were referenced from), I don't think it entails flaming from us Filipinos. Heroes aren't badasses. Manananggal lang katapat nung mga yun!

BTW, just wanted to share that I have a job now (after almost 4 months of being lost in the ever forking road of life). Finally a job that'll pay me for what I work for, with benefits, just a ride from home and near the shopping district! The good side of it as well is that we're the pioneering team! I'll be starting at the 16th!

Finally a job that'll pay me for what I work for, with benefits, just a ride from home and near the shopping district! The good side of it as well is that we're the pioneering team! I'll be starting at the 16th!

awwwww im really happy for you but at the same time jealous for a similar feeling right now im having great fun here but im not satisfied with 16k, need mowr. btw what job is that bakashi?

@da vinci: i didn't watch it cos i knew it's gonna suck, from the trailer, you can always tell if a movie is from the trailer, good, bad, or ethereal besides i always thought its impossible to watch da vinci without reading it, that's why most people have no idea what's going on

Speaking of Dan Brown's books, I've read only one. Angels and demons. I must admit he can be very captivating. And that's why I expected much out of Da Vinci Code. But after about three chapters of it, i realized I was reading almost the same thing, with a few characters substituted. It was like reading Nancy Drew. -_- professor involved in a chase with a hot foreign girl. That was it.

btw i read dan brown's books, da vinci, angels and demons, deception point etc... let's say it feels like code geass, you know its just riding on a hype and he's overusing a plot but you still cant stop reading it
