^Yeah I agree. It just got its priorities wrong, and a lot of things felt too uninteresting. Hopefully its not too late for the manga to get back on track since it seems like its finally shaping its own identity after a very... uhhh, random? start
They have not. If they did they would say so on their site.
I really hope this doesnt turn into drama like with Magi's case when scans were late. We know how sense functions at this point, and they tend to be understaffed. Furthermore, this manga is probably not their priority right now because...
I just noticed the guy from chapters 19 and 20 is one of the elite Bushi that our main characters were reading about back in chapter 7. There are 2 others in that page we might meet them soon.
Thanks for always doing these early summaries Haya!
Thinks are starting to get interesting, looking forward to how they're gonna be getting of this mess. As long as Musashi doesn't effortlessly cleave through all the demons (which I'm kinda afraid will be the case lol), it should be a fun ride.
Orient Vol. 1 sold 29,572 copies week 2 for a total of 52,442 sales so far.
So it did better this week. That's good to know, all things considered the sales might not be as bad as they initially appeared to be looking like. I don't expect it to stay in top 50 next week but idk it could... it is...
Ouch. That's bad. By chance do you know how long the volume was out when the sales were counted? Usually for new volumes they're out for 2 or 3 days on the first week but maybe this was the sales for 1 day? It's not likely but it's good to know regardless.
But man... idk how lenient these new...
I've been meaning to say ever since the final arc of Magi, but man these overly exaggerated expressions just kill all the tension and drama for me. Like you don't need the characters to be drenched in sweat and tears and have deformed faces almost every single panel to get the point across. It's...
Ohhh I like those colors! Though I can already tell, with that color scheme the anime designers are just gonna dump a layer of cyan on her and call it a day.
There r worse (or just exactly the same) protagonists lol, but regardless the story will get better when things get serious, but yeah I don't have much confidence that the protagonist himself will have a significant character development (he'll just get physically stronger instead to deal with...
Um... okay? Guess you're going more for what a "heroine" should typically act like, I just meant that she's the main female lead in this story. And lol the masked girl? Big difference right there.. Tsumugi, for one, is actually a character.
In 2 chapters she has already shown some at least some...
She is. She has the face for it and that's kinda what matters the most. Ohtaka just needed her to grab our attention in the beginning xD. I doubt she'll be doing that left and right from now on (then again what do I know). And hell naw she ain't even close to queen blondie. Speaking of which I...
Chapter 9 in English
We're catching up. Musashi needs to get his ass handed to him by a woman. Im expecting Elizabeth long lost sister from another dimension to show up.
And suddenly I have the urge to ship Tsumugi and Kojirou cause I don't want a dense protagonist scenario like in Every. Freaking. Shonen. Fantasy. Adventure. Manga (and at least Kojirou appreciates her assets).
