Vagabond 297 Discussion So Inoue released sketches for 297: http://itplanning.co.jp/vaga.html :)

Re: Vagabond 293-294 Discussion So does anybody know what happened to raw paradise? Everytime I try to visit, it forwards me to Shueisha's japanese website...

Re: Vagabond 291 Discussion / 292 Prediction Thread No, I'm pretty sure that Inoue is setting up the final leg of the manga here. I doubt he's just going to abruptly end it like this. I expect a few episodes inbetween, and I expect Musashi vs. Gonnosuke to be one. I just think there is so much...

Re: Vagabond 291 Discussion / 292 Prediction Thread I thought Musashi fought at the Battle of Osaka. I'm hoping Inoue shows: 1. The fight with Gonnosuke 2. The Battle of Osaka 3. A battle with Hyogonosuke.

Re: How will Inoue end Vagabond? I don't think Gonnosuke will be addressed, and the fight with Kojiro will extend for about three volumes and thus until the end of the year or early 2011.

Re: Vagabond Hang Out Thread I don't understand how the stakes are any different. In all the fights, everybody's life is on the line. To me, those are the highest stakes possible. In a samurai manga, I want to see some kinetics, and I want to see them done well and with innovation. This...

Re: Vagbond 288 Discussion / 289 Prediction Thread I feel too many loose ends haven't been tied. I still wanted to see Hyogonosuke in action as well as Gonnosuke.

Re: Vagbond 288 Discussion / 289 Prediction Thread Raw is up on raw paradise

Re: Vagabond Hang Out Thread I think it's far too early to be ending Vagabond. He needs at least two years to give the series a coherent ending. That said, I've been following Vagabond since I was about 11 or 12 years old. I am now 21. I'm going to be very sad when it ends.

Re: Vagabond Hang Out Thread Best fights in the series in no particular order: - Kojiro vs. Koun - Musashi/Kojiro/Gonnosuke/Ittosai vs. Tokugawa soldiers at Sekigahara - The first fight between Musashi and Inshun - Musashi vs. Yagyu retainers -Kojiro vs. Denshichiro Fights that did not live...

Re: Buying the manga Check your local comic store if you want to buy at a 10$ a volume. Many don't know about Vagabond, so comic stores usually have the manga in stock.

Re: Vagabond 285 Discussion / 286 Prediction Thread It's been about a week. I was wondering if NSN was planning on just releasing 285 anytime soon.

Re: Vagabond 285 Discussion / 286 Prediction Thread Can you post this episode or link to a place where I can DL it?

Re: Vagabond 282 - 283 Discussion / 284 Prediction Thread I think judging by the end of 282, that this fight is more of a draw than a loss for Musashi. Maybe even a loss for Ito. After all, Musashi isn't wounded, is he? If we are instead to consider what would have happened had Ito been using...

Re: Vagabond 280 - 281 Discussion / 282 Prediction Thread Incorrect. In'ei mentioned that Inshun would be dead because Inshun was blocking with the middle, wooden part of his spear. A swing by Musashi with a real sword would have penetrated the wood and cut down Inshun. A bokken is...
