World Trigger is doing that well? I thought for the longest time it was languishing on the cancellation line and it's always the butt of jokes by people? I was surprised it even got an anime, but it's still going so I guess they wouldn't throw good money after bad if it wasn't worthwhile.

I think ideally, they try to have them all or mostly work from the same office space (mangaka + assistants), but I suppose that isn't always the case. Easier to seek input in person rather than having each assistant ringing up the author on skype for something constantly.

Really belated reply but, Kako to Tantei ended in Sept eh? I thought the chara design for Kako was pretty cute in a ki-moe way, but I'll admit I never got around to actually reading it.

That recent one-shot was pretty entertaining. Takuan to Batsu no Nichijou Enmachou Decent banter between the two MCs. Her 'abuse' of Tsukumo wasn't overbearing and went along with the gags. Lots of cringeworthy puns, which I guess were fun in their own way. Also liked the homage to Yuzo...

Boku Girl not only gets the color page for Volume 4, but the leading color page as well. And center-billing on the new volume release ad too hmm... Hopefully that means it's not doing all that bad in the eyes of the editors and not just a last-ditch effort to raise popularity? :pout

The color page for Boku Girl is just the usual pre-volume-release one that all series get AFAIK just before a tankoubon release. You'd like to think staying out of the bottom 3 would keep you going, but Liar Game is obviously only down that far because it's about to wrap up. I don't think...
