Apparently, next issue, #43, is going to have Takahashi Tsutomu's (Author of Hito Hitori Futari and Sky High) new series called Nijigen Jumpin'. Nijigen as in "2D'.

It looks like a manga about the world of manga. A pretty different subject matter for him. He says it's contemporary.

What rank in ToC was it in Issue 42, anyone know? Don't think the one before that would be helpful, since it had a Center Color or such, and wouldn't be ordered properly.

It had lead color for issue 42. Fourth to last in 43, 13th (7th to last) in 41, not including all the color series.

Anime 2nd season is 100% confirmed now:
"This year's 46th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump magazine is confirming on Thursday that the second season of the Tokyo Ghoul television anime will premiere in January. The official Chinese website for the television anime of Sui Ishida's Tokyo Ghoul horror manga listed a second season last month."

For any of those interested, the insert text given at the end of the Terra Formars ch111 and then 112 in issues 43-44:

「最後の戦いが、始まる!!」- The final battle is starting!!
「最後の戦いが、始まった!!」- The final battle started!!

This is of course to take with a grain a salt since this is only text written by the editors but it leaves to think that the series is entering its final arc (? - maybe) and given the pace of the fights until now it's highly possible the series will end up having 16-17 volumes total (assuming the authors make this fight a 50-60 chapters long one).
