That makes sense. Hellblaze and darkness are visually different so they can be called different things.
I still think darkness is magic just like hellblaze because Meliodas was able to repel Mael's Sunshine magic with it during their flashback fight.
That would feel pretty unnecessary and out of nowhere though the contrast you pointed out is interesting. However I don't think Nakaba would have the new protagonist be related to the Demon King like Meliodas was as it would be kind of repetitive.

I doubt the knights are as strong as the Ten Commandments going off of what we've seen. They could be on that level if Arthur gave them power but that's speculation for now.
Power levels probably won't make an appearance in the sequel story considering how Nakaba gave up on them in NNT.
As for whether they should, it depends on how they would be used.
