Re: One Piece 606 Spoiler Discussion Thread You were quoting part of the wiki entry as fact. "Davy Jones is van der Decken" when it's only one of the theories. I thought it might confuse people into assuming that van der Decken is in fact Davy Jones when as of now there's no reason to assume...

Re: One Piece 606 Spoiler Discussion Thread It's only one of many theories surrounding the origins of Davy Jones. Let's not jump to conclusions.

Re: One Piece 606 Spoiler Discussion Thread I think if Oda wanted Davy Jones as captain of the flying dutchman as he is in some stories he would have just introduced the captain as Davy Jones not van der Decken as in the original story.

Re: One Piece 606 Spoiler Discussion Thread You've been watching too much Pirates of the Caribean. The guy is clearly called van der Decken as he is in the original story of the flying Dutchman. There have been many speculations on who the actual captain was Davy Jones only being one of them...

Re: One Piece 606 Spoiler Discussion Thread Might as well reiterate this here. Decken is correct old Dutch. We used to use the ck combination a heck of a lot in the old days these days that been changed to kk.

Not really just checking which chapter (281) he last appeared and when that chapter came out (oktober 2005)

172 to be exact but close enough. That's 3 years and 8 months.

In Colleen Clinkenbeards voice: Oh my god that is so AWESOME. Also he can summon toads and THAT'S SO COOL. Luffy would definitely want Naruto on his crew.

Talking about Kushina. Remember how it's been remarked how Kushina's personality and ninjutsu style where similar to Naruto's. It's kinda like Harry Potter in that both Naruto and Harry Potter look like their fathers but ultimately take after their mothers. While the Fourth being Naruto's dad is...

Actually the last time Naruto went berserk his clothes magically reappeared when he returned to his normal state. So expect to see the same thing this time.

With everyone and their mother reviewing Naruto now, it's about time One Piece gets the respect it deserves because ninjas may be cooler than pirates but One Piece kicks Naruto's butt every day of the week. To all you would be reviewers out there please review series that aren't being reviewed...

IMHO senjutsu will allow him to gather more of the kyuubi's power without succombing to it. The struggle for control seems like a powerplay between the kyuubi's power and naruto's power. If naruto can use his chakra and senjutsu it should should drasticly increase the power he can harness from...

A short review (not really judging anything but just my opinion): A longstanding shonen cliche is the fact that the main character has to beat up a stronger badguys in every arc and One Piece follows this to the letter but it's within these confines that it shines through it's excellent set of...

Bleach is a series that started out with potential but went downhill after the first big arc. During this arc you get the feeling that this is all just a set-up for things to come. Unfortantely that didn't end up being the case as the story doesn't really seem to go anywhere (The main reason I...

Who needs a gaiden? It would only take away the mystery of the character besides I'm sure the fanfiction writers will have fun with it.
