Question Is God Serena his real name?

Vol.52 confirms that God Serena is a title for the #1 Wizard Saint. Ah, he was once a fellow member of the Four Emperor's of Ishgal...he was designated the top ranked Wizard Saint, a title saved for the greatest wizard on the continent... God Serena...

I don't think that's really his epithet, but his ability to use so many elements at once. Not sure where the "epithet" thing came from.

Incorrect. "Hybrid Theory" is what August calls his ability to have so many different DS varieties at once. His real epithet is "Eight-Dragon God Serena", according to his Historia.
