Kyoko was so badass this chapter

the fight scenes were amazing. I always enjoy the parts where the manga presents a bit of the acting world - like stage combat in this.

Kyoko's always funny when she's thinking supernatural - psychic powers xD

Another solid SB chapter. Kuresaki is just money, doesn't even need to speak. He's finally come around to Kyoko.

The Ren/Lory part was obviously the most interesting, mainly in regards to the very end. The photo is from ch 223, and this will give us a monkey wrench that is typical with romances like this. And cliche as it may be (incoming misunderstanding), for this series, having Ren/Kyoko moments are done well regardless, so there's no worry for me. I do wonder who actually took the photo, was it LME or someone from the media? Either way it's great that Lory is revealing it to Ren now, so that he can contain Ren's reactions to it, to mitigate the chances of a media frenzy.

gonna read now ily. holy moly i am glad she got the role basically now. those girls weren't in her league to begin with. in regards to photo i think Lory's secretray took it or something like that. since a lot of time has passed since that moment and the picture would have been in magazines by that time already. Oh boy Ren next chapter will be annihilation mode

Damn it's annoying how Kimiko might get the better of Kyoko in this round because of the misunderstanding. Speaking of which, that misunderstanding was pretty good. Usually this can be a negative in rom coms, but Kyoko had such intensity you could feel her confusion and angst.

Kimiko is going to withdraw but you get the feeling there's some ulterior motive at hand. I wonder which guy she is keen on. Could it be Fuwa (was getting the feeling it was Yashiro, for some reason. It could be an unknown character, I guess).

That being said, Skip Beat has always been a manga with so many hurdles, you can never know what Yoshiki Nakamura will do next to create obstacles and (absolutely) dreadful cliffhanger like this one!
