What's the comparison for Choujo v1, Samon v1 or Roboco v1.

It honestly doesn't feel like we've had Nue for a little over a year at this point. Series still feels brand new
True, i feel the same with Kill Blue, it's like a entire year already? Tenmaku Cinema started with them and it just feels so fresh in the memory lol

You don't consider AyaTri an action harem?
Didn't felt much like a harem to me, the focus was pretty much on Suzu and Matsuri the whole time.

The most likely reason is that there's a disconnect between the reader surveys and volume sales i.e. KGB is far more popular outside the magazine than with magazine readers. It's rarer but it happens. Nura being one of the most blatant examples. Sold 250k in a month, 7th best seller in the magazine when it was axed but placed poorly in the rankings.
Was nura even axed? Jump featured it as a successful series during their 55th anniversary, so I think it just ended naturally.

I wouldn't consider it a harem. There was only one other girl (and one guy) that was interested in Matsuuri. And she only appeared sparingly. The focus was pretty much entirely Suzue and Matsuuri.

Color page looks really cool. I really wish Jump translated these oneshots. Some of these look like they might make pretty good series.

Nah, it definitely was. Jump pretty much rushed the entire final arc and defeated the final boss in one or two chapters. The transition was extremely abrupt from the hundred ghost stories arc. The final chapters themselves were released in another magazine.

Haikyuu still affecting generations of boys

High-school volleyball club membership for boys jumped from 35,000 in 2012 to more than 50,000 this year, official records have shown.
Among those inspired is Kaede Sakashita, 10, seeking to emulate "Haikyu!!" elite setter Atsumu Miya, and his low-lunge toss, in a Tokyo sports hall.

"He's my role model," said Sakashita, a member of Tokyo's Sugiichi junior volleyball club.
❤ Miya ❤

Or the mangaka was getting sick so he rushed the ending and finally recovered enough to publish on another mag. It got an anime with two seasons. Not every bad ending is due to the axe.

He didn't go to another mag after Nura though, he had two more series in Weekly Shonen Jump with Illegal Rare and Yui Kamio before he started Iwamoto-senpai in Ultra Jump.

Hey everyone, so from last nights (or day depending on their region), reveal of the ToC I have 2 things to say. First, I like how we are getting a Basketball one-shot, I hope it’s good and it makes its way to be a series to break the curse. And second, with the discussion on how the series current ToC averages are, I would like to do another analysis review and look at where these series are and why their current positions. And I will be using both Jajaken and ItsSamu’s analysis ToC averages a few weeks ago. It will take some time during the day and I will get back to you with my theory on these placements.

Nura was axed. It was slowly building the last arc and then suddenly rushed everything in a few chapters.
The author could just misjudge how many chapters he needs to finish his manga like it was with Gintama

I think people should either read Nura or reread it to see why we're saying it was axed. The pacing for the final arc was breakneck speed.

To give an idea: the prologue for Rikuo to accept becoming the Night commander took 17 chapters, the tanuki arc 26 chapters, Kyoto arc 83 chapters, Hundred ghost stories 53 chapters. The preparation for the final arc was 20 chapters. The final arc itself? The equivalent of 10 chapters (3 chapters of roughly 70 pages) all of which was published in another magazine. This for the final villain who was built up since the end of the Kyoto arc. There was more focus on the fight against a secondary villain in the Kyoto arc than there was for the final villain.

The final page of Nura in Jump proper was a splash page depicting Rikuo and friends charging into battle against the final villain and his group a la Ayashimon.
