Imo, France has the best team and performance and should take this title, but I have no faith in the results of this championship. The number of games with results decided in the very last minutes or going to extra time is also a very fixed pattern at this point, idk.
I don’t quite understand what this controversy is about. Even had it touched something, that would be such a limited change of trajectory to land in a space with one Norwegian and two English. That’s a bad kick from the goalkeeper, in a bad zone for his team anyway. He clearly had the left side of the pitch to choose, you can see from Hardy’s first video just above.

Tbf a goal got cancelled because Haaland was more busy pretending he was doing Greco-Roman wrestling rather than playing for the ball lol. In a world of ifs and buts that one was way clearer.
Anderson 100% flopped. Everyone was shoving on that play and Anderson sold it well and went to the ground at the right moment. "Smart" play from him, but neither player had any effect on the actual goal that was scored there. Can't help but feel sour about that one too IMO.
I'm... still unconvinced lol. The ball has been very fucky all tournament and been very hard for keepers to read its erratic movements (like a Jabulani lite). Extremely unfortunate for Norway if it did happen though...

The ball has indeed been fucky, but mostly with the typical shot with limited spin. A lot of goalkeepers who are pundits have talked about it. Basically the ball design only has 4 separate panels and is bonded instead of balls that have like 20 pieces and stitched, or something to that effect.
However, the flight of the ball at its maximum speed with no spin is a different situation than a ball natural falling back down to the ground. I've seen people bring up wind, but it wasn't especially windy yesterday in Miami and I'm not sure how much of it cuts through the stadium in the upper level either. I just think the VAR refs relying too much on that sensor that has already proven to be questionable is bad.

Sure the Norway players could have defended better but the commotion is due to the fact that it should have been whistled dead and a dropped ball situation. Which means the build-up doesn't happen and there likely isn't a goal as a result.
I cant say I expected it... but Spain played really well, they didnt let France play their game while being more vertical. This was more like the Spain from Euro24 and France just... couldnt neutralize it today.
France just doesn't have the midfield to play against a team like Spain, all ball-winners and not much else. Well, the final just became much more boring.
