We stayed around nine days in Osaka. Within those nine days, we went to Kyoto for three days, one day was reserved for Nara, and more than half a day we spent in Hyogo at the Himeji Castle. Ultimately, we had a little more than three days we could spend in Osaka itself.
Osaka is actually pretty nice. Compared to Tokyo, it is less crowded, more calm, more comfortable for sightseeing and shopping. The women in Osaka also look a little bit better than in Tokyo, I kept an eye on this, hehe. Tokyo is still number 1, but Osaka won't disappoint, especially since it is relatively close to Kyoto, so you can kill two birds with one stone if you are into traditional stuff.
We planned every single day together with my cousin with the recommendations of Nii and several websites, youtube videos and so on. We started with the planning several months before (around or before April). That was a huge task, because there is simply too much to see. On paper, we had a "strict" guide to follow, but we were aware of the fact that we won't be able to follow it 100%. We both are/were pretty easygoing and flexible. To our surprise, most of the stuff we planned worked out. We actually had a lot in our list, maybe a little bit too much. On average, we walked around 18km/day, haha. No regrets, though. But next time - and there will be a next time for me - I'll plan less to see.

Hmh, I would be lying if I tell you that I know the mentioned restaurants (Ichiran, ippudo, coco curry). Could be we ate there, maybe not, we didn't keep track on that.
I get him not liking the claw game, but not even into the stop-timer thing? And the sweet temptation of winning a figure or something in the arcade for less money than you would pay for it in the store. Especially "Adores" in Akiba always had some very interesting things to play, like getting Dragon Balls which were pretty decent quality, worth 3000 yen for one I think, making it much more worth it to get them there. Got so many dragonballs, and if you get many you also get a small box with mini-dragonballs included!
Honestly, I miss Japan a lot. However, this is just a tourist speaking here. I mean, when otaku stuff is one of your main hobbies (forget otaku stuff, I can't even find a proper Basketball store around Frankfurt ffs), then Tokyo is like a paradise. Not to mention all those peaceful and wonderful gardens. We basically relaxed in those gardens for more than 30 minutes without talking to each other, without checking our phones, just sitting there and enjoying the nature. The cleanliness (even though there are hardly any trash bins, mind you), the order, the mentality of the people and how understanding they are, even if you make a mistake, was totally new to me. In Paris, people refused to talk to me in english despite being able to do so. I also like the Japanese cuisine more than the german and turkish one. Yes, I miss Japan a lot, as a tourist that is.
People at home? There was a time where I thought that I bought more for family/friends than for myself, haha. Every family (member) and friend close to me got something. Some got keychains, others manga volumes, plushies, magnets or miniature figures of sights (Great Buddha, Himeji Castle...).
We lost against the freaking Nets. I feel so triggered right now. All the hype for nothing. And what triggers me the most is that I couldn't find time to watch a single match yet.
I really wanted to ask you lots of things, believe it or not. But I couldn't find the courage to bombard you with questions while you and Pompom-chan were dealing with this and that. No joke, seriously. It felt out of place for me.
No, not at all, especially not in Japan. The people are way too kind there and you also feel it right off the bat. Of course there is this little feel of restraint, but I guess that's more than normal. Not to mention that you don't even need to know a lot of Japanese to get through your day. At best, you need to know around 15-25 words or sentences.

7/11 and FamilyMart are more than fine, but the stuff from the blue Lawson just tastes better (inb4 someone tells me it's the same stuff in every store, haha). The green Lawson is the worst, no idea what the difference between the blue and green one is. I disqualified the green Lawson instantly anyway, since their Onigiri don't have the flavors written in english. Absolutely barbaric.

No, that's not what I wanted to imply. I simply don't know what it means to live in Japan, never concerned myself about it, that's all. It doesn't mean I'm not open to live in another country though, not at all. But you need far more knowledge about a country than "hey, I was there on my vacation and it was great, must be pretty cool to live there". That's rash and ignorant in my view. Yes, you read and hear stuff like say things about the crime rate or educational system, but that's not enough for a life-changing decision.
I'm sorry bro, but don't count on me. I would have to neglect many other stuff for it and that's not something I want to do, especially when I'm not on vacation. MG just eats up too much time. December looks better for me, but I will be also away for one week on short notice this year (could happen any time), so there is a risk that I won't be able to participate at all.

I know it is far to early to make assumptions, but this is seriously not the start I was expecting of the Rockets. However, I still need to watch the games, which is quite difficult with all the other stuff I want to watch or read. I saw the Clippers against the Lakers, I enjoyed that one a lot. AD impressed me as well as Beverly. But Kawhi seems to be something entirely else, I adore his movements and shots. Also saw the Bucks vs. the Rockets. It felt like nothing worked the way Harden intended. The Bucks made a crazy comeback, but overall the game wasn't that special from both sides. Those two matches are the only ones I've watched so far. I try to watch every Rockets match chronological, plus the matches which my friends recommend like the Mavericks vs. Lakers. So, whenever you think there is a lit non-Rockets match, don't hesitate to ping me! : )
Yeah, the Heat started strong, it will be interesting to follow them. You think they will have a shot to reach further in the playoffs?

Kamakura - Enoshima
Hokokuji Temple - Tsurugaoka Hachimangu - Kotoku-in - Hasedera - Enoshima Shrine - Enoshima Sea Candle
The weather was not on our side that day. It was raining a lot and for the first time, we had some trouble to find the bus/train stations, which is but a rarity. In 98% of the cases, Google Maps navigates you extremely fine. The only issues are to find the proper Bus stations which often are written in japanese kanji. Other than that, you will have no trouble at all. I can safely say that I had an easier time to navigate through Japan's public transportation than I would have in Germany.
Unfortunately, the Iwaya Caves (Enoshima) were closed on that day. And we did decice against visiting the Enoshima Aquarium, it was kinda late anyway.
The next picture is taken in the train. We were sitting faced towards the opposite direction. The kind lady besides us patted on our shoulders, saying that we should look behind us to see the coast, really cool. That's Japan for you!
Alright, there was something that brough my attention to come here. So... I see that some have mentioned tha they wanted to see a picture of the irl Syx. Fairly speaking, from the pictures he has provided there are already quite some nice hints he left for us of how he actually looks like, but of course, you have to figure out how to put the puzzle together.
Let's take a look to the first picture:
There has been feet shown, shoes and pants. Of course, these could be from his friend, or from (random) people also, but then again, why would Syx bother to take a picture from someone's feet or shoes? Knowing Syx, he simply doesn't want a random feet in his gallery of his phone unless we assume he has a feet fetish. But from here own we could already puzzle how his 'bottom' part might look like, and no not that 'bottom' part for the perverts among is. Keep these for yourself, thank you very much.
Now let's take a look to the second, third and fourth picture:
As you guys have seen in these picture, we see a reflection of his phone and hands, and even a possible shirt! So assuming that the hands and shirts are Syx, and not some random miga moega ghost or something being there while he was taking the pictures of these figures, we couldpossbily already have an imagination how Syx looks like if we put the 'bottom part', 'shirt' part and 'hands' in one whole. The only thing that is left is his head and possible chest, if, of course, he does have one that is....
Also, of course there can be some 'interesting' phenomenons being captured, for example this buddha statue:
Hmm, I have always assumed that Greg might had a descendant from Japan, so I must admit it was quite a surprise to see that Syx was interesting enough to take a picture from this statue. This pretty much start to confirm actually a lot of things from Greg's blood line and family history. So that's always a nice touch to have for him.
Last but not least there is one more picture I would like to bring to our attention:
Of course, Syx is a bit of a giant hence I couldn't capture a proper sight of his face HOWEVER gladly I was able to camouflage myself perfectly fine without him noticing. As you can see he has quite the hands, so if we manage to put his shadow together with the previous investigations from the feet, shoes, pants, hands, shirt and now the shadow, we are even a step closer to Syx true identitity. Of course, we know that his blood is flown with the Ottomanness, so if we assume this all together there is a 50% possiblity for you guys to imagine his head that fits with these hints he left here for us.
