Switzerland was unlucky, that ball on the post...
Yea just like Chile in 118th minute.

He lost like 37 balls in 90 minutes and 51 considering extra time. He was pretty bad except for the last play. All he did was: winning a 1 on 1, doing a terrible cross with his right foot, run.
Even so he ran a lot!
Just due to his reputation people are forced to run after him. I can say with ease Di Maria is in poor form. He has an extremely weird and special style of play, and when he's not in form his style results in more than usual "on and off play", which is a type of player he is. When in form he looks brilliant, has amazing duels, amazing ability to possess the ball, amazing passes and finishes, but in this game it was blindly obvious he's nowhere near top shape in terms of his play. A lot of great plays (like the couple of shots he had on goal that were rather good, not counting the goal, duels, passes etc), but equal amount of horrendous plays. It's Di Maria in a nut shell when he's not in shape. Still I'll give him credit for working a lot and having some pretty good attempts and plays that resulted in good plays. He attracts a lot of attention, and in the 115th minute he was the only one that really ran hard on the pitch apart Messi. His physical shape is at least somewhat good still, even though his football isn't.
