Seriously, what team has convinced you?

Well Colombia showed quality on most of their games, so they convinced me. I love James and a lot of other their players have an history with Porto, so i like that team.

Belgium never really convinced me. Expected more of them, after all the hype they had been getting. And they do have some really great players like Witsel that was one of the best players of Benfica when he played on Portugal.

France convinced me. Expected failure from them, but they proved me wrong. They were unlucky to face Germany so early imo. The match itself was boring, but both teams could be arguably the ones performing the best until that point.

I had expected more of Germany after that one game against Portugal, but i think they can do this.

Brazil has finally convinced me, after several games where i was contesting them. But yesterday they had a good game imo, specially their first half. So sad for Neymar though, he was being definitely one of best from Brazil during the WC.

Netherlands doesn't particularly convince me ... in the sense that i still think that their defense should be better, but they have a great coach ... but they have definitely performed a lot better than you guys.

In the end, Argentina draws in one of the easiest groups ... and still needs a bunch of luck to beat Iran (undeserved win), and has no convincing victory over the other 2. And then to get to the semi-finals has Switzerland and Belgium. Promising teams (Belgium definitely more promising), but not really anything better than that.

Well, there was contact during all of them, but some of them were contact on the Argentinian side. Penalties weren't deserved or anything, but Argentina was let off the hook on some of the ones Belgium were called for fouls for. There were obvious fouls by Belgium for some of them. That happens a lot, though, in matches.

I will say that Belgium were particularly bad at staying offsides, though, and props to the Argentinian back line for stepping up. They've really played well so far, even though they looked like the weakness of Argentina going in to the tournament. The roles have flipflopped for Argentina.

Not biased. France one categorically all of their games! One of the easiest, just like yours, but in their case they played great. How much did you beat Switzerland? They won 5-2! They had a goal average of 8-2 coming out of the groups phase.

You know what your goal average was? 6-3.
Completely unfair that win vs Iran, where Iran actually deserved the win a lot more than you guys. They got robbed a penalty, were being more dangerous than you guys and out of nowhere Messi scores with an amazing kick.

And the other games how did you perform? Once again you performed completely banally. And simply won because the difference in the skill from some of your players comparing to your opponents.

And Netherlands? Netherlands crushed Spain in one game. And they got out of the group phase with a goal average of 10-3.

Please don't tell me i am being biased. Argentina has yet to convince and you know that pretty well. Lucky draw that made it really likely for you guys to get to the semi-finals, and you still fail to perform.
Had you guys had a tougher group: and just like us, Spain, England, Italy and you would had chances of not even going through the groups phase. You guys don't deserve more than any of the teams i mentioned here pff.

At least 4 of those goals were counter attacks thanks to scoring early. Switzerland just parks the bus, it either works like against us or it does terribly like against France.

Numbers don't reflect everything. They are a team that depends on counter attacks, they are not that good offensivly. Out of those 3 goals, 2 were FROM AUSTRALIA.

Except that we were better than every other team we played against and that's a fact? Like, we were horrible, I've said that already in the last match, but that doesn't mean we don't deserve a spot. We were better, we won, we're in the top 4, that's how it works. That's the biggest difference between us and Portugal, you weren't better than the US, so you didn't go to 2nd round.

Even today, Messi had like 3-4 players on him whenever he touches the ball, and still managed to deliver some quality plays under those conditions
