If Brazil doesn't play better than they have lately, i think it will be a really difficult match, similar to the difficulty they had against Mexico.
I like Colombia, because my team has some recent history with Colombia's players. In case you don't know players like Falcão, Guárin, James Rodriguez have once played in FC Porto, and even though it seems like Guárin is not playing the same quality as he once did when he played for us, James is prolly so far one of the best of this WC.
This just shows how a lot of stuff can change in one year.
1 year ago, both João Moutinho and James were sold together to Monaco for 70M euros. At that time, since Porto had a deal with Sporting that we would have to pay 25% of the difference of price sold based on the price we bought to Sporting, in case the price we sold Moutinho would be greater than the price we bought him which was 11M euros.
At that time James after being away from the fields from quite sometime because of an injury, came back looking completely unlike his old self. No creativity, the quality of his pass which was one of his great qualities seem to had completely extinguish, he basically stopped looking like one of the most promising players and started looking like a modest player. It wouldn't be so painful to watch if you knew the player was only capable of that, but James was a prodigy ... after Hulk/João Moutinho i would have to value him as one of the best players that had played for us in the last couple of years.
So i wasn't really that sad when James was sold, because his performance had dropped a lot. Gladly it seems that he is now once again playing at his level.
Moutinho on the other hand was being enormous on our team, and was one of the reasons why we won so much on the 3 years he was with us.
In the end in order for Porto to win as much as possible and Sporting to get as less as possible from Moutinho sale, James was sold for 45M while Moutinho was sold for 25M. At that time, everyone especially from Sporting was mad because Moutinho was performing a lot better than James and the price for Moutinho should had been a bit higher and James a bit lower.
But their experience on Monaco has been completely different. James was considered one of the best, while Moutinho was a disappointment. Moutinho vs Ghana played a bit like his old self, but he could still play better than that. He is prolly one of my favourite players, so i would like if he could setup his play once more.
All this story just to tell how so much can change in one year.
Regarding Colombia, there's more players that are connected to Porto, and in this case i am referring to our present, with both Martinez and Quintero (and Quinones but this one barely played for us). While Martinez had a so-so year, and looked a lot weaker than his first year with us, he is pretty solid, even though definitely bellow Falcão.
Quintero on the other hand, also had a rough year, like every single player on our team, but i believe he has a lot quality. He has the potential to match James's quality, and he is definitely one of the players that i see bringing the most profit for my team.
Even if WC doesn't mean much to me any more for obvious reasons, Colombia is one of those National Teams that i would like to see performing good.
Without Suarez, i think that they can beat Uruguay easily!
