I think it was an OK penalty honestly. It was perhaps a little cheap. Football players always fall easily, especially Spanish players. Spain is lucky since no way Costa was gonna score there anyway, lol xD An OK decision tho, not like yesterday's absurd penalty.

btw for those that watched Mexico vs Cameroon, referee was MVP there too. So sad when you see referee's heavily influence a game. Mexico should've scored twice, especially the 2nd disallowed goal was extremely painful to watch being disallowed. That was the most obvious goal ever and the offside referee judged it as disallowed. I was like "woa..."

I think the ref said the second goal was a foul or a handball from Gio, not an offside. He didn't raise his hand indicating it was an indirect play, so it can't be an offside.

Well, Mexico should had won like 4-0, and in a tournament where the goal difference may get you in the 2nd round, it's a big deal. The fact that it isn't clear wtf he called in the 2nd goal from Mexico only makes it worse, lol.

Yeah, shit like this shouldn't happen. Football should use cameras like Tennis and B Ball (and I think that even Rugby) do. Nothing that stops the gameplay every 2 minutes, but important shit like this.
