Yeah we got Spain after the group phase while you got Mexico. You wanna compare? And we lost to Spain 1-0, nothing humiliating there. While you were completely humiliated by Germany.

I didn't know loosing 4-0 vs Germany and looking horrible and helpless (you could had lost for more) is the same as loosing for 3-1 but showing a good performance.

I have yet to understand what makes Argentina so likely to win, but i guess some professionals analyst definitely know a bit more than me.
Well i still think that Argentina's defense is a joke compared to most of other national teams, so that's why i am actually surprised with them having such good odds.

Germany by far the most impressive team so far. Except for Lahm in the first half, who had 2 lapses, the defense was pretty much perfect, completely controlled Portugal, though of course it got easier in the second half. In addition, we always stayed dangerous and creative in front of Portugal´s goal, with Götze doing an incredible job while Müller did the usual Müller. I guess with this, Germany confirmed its role as one of the top contenders.

Poor Ronaldo. Shortly before one of the big chances he got the ball stolen from his foot and... stopped where he stood.
It got hillarious though when he got a free kick and failed a one-man-wall
Seriously though, Portugal was way below expectations, so I wouldn't put too much weight on that victory just now. If Germany wins the next match in a similar fashion maybe. Until then, Löw got a hard job of keeping our guys level-headed.

Anyway, I don't like Low taking Klose to the WC and not playing him. If Germany win the WC and Klose gets a winner's medal, it'll be great for him, but if Low has no plans of playing him in the WC, and he clearly doesn't if he didn't play him for the last 20-30 minutes against a defeated 10 man Portugal, it seems like a slap in the face to Klose in some ways.

No. Portugal had already thrown in the towel before the hour mark. I mean, there was that one opportunity that they had that could've been a penalty, but that was about it.

On the other hand, barring Muller breaking his leg every WC or something, he'll probably run away with the WC scoring record as he'll have at least two, if he stays on form, more WCs with which to get to 15.
