Well honestly after this game i decided to not care anymore. Such an huge disappointment overall.
I didn't even celebrate our second goal.

Disappointed that we didn't show any character, any attitude, that most of our players seem to be completely out of shape and unprepared for such game. I find it unfair for Ghana if they had already been out at this second game, but for us? We played shit and we didn't deserve more than this.

USA is overall a weak team (no offense) but we showed to be way weaker at this point. Anyway, there's still hope for us but it's really slim.
I think there needs to be done some change, in the same way Spain also does. We have yet to make it any significant change in the last 4 years, and it's clear it needs to be done. Players like Nani, Veloso, Raul Meireles and not the same anymore and that's obvious. Apart from that we also have players like Moutinho (one of the potential best players of our team playing shit, and because of that he was considered a flop in France *he plays for Monaco*), and we are unlucky enough to have prolly the player in best shape also out of tournament ... yeah i am talking about Coentrão.

Anyway a team that has to put Veloso at left defense ... a position he hasn't done in 4 years, something it's clearly wrong.
I was expecting a lot more from us, i thought we could reach the quarters if we played to our potential, but we haven't done anything else than embarrass ourselves.

USA it's clearly the weakest game we had this group. With this poor performance i have no hope for our game vs Ghana. We need to win by quite some goals, and hope that you guys will help us on that.
But how will we score that much goals (and not suffer) with this attitude?

This game was easy if we played like we can, as much as stupid and immature this might sound. But it's the painful truth. USA is overall a weak team, who won simply because apart from everything i have already mentioned, they had a lot more dedication and team spirit.

100% agree. I only watch this team with huge frustration. Such a huge slump, multiple players not performing individually and as a team. Too many key players out with injuries, but mostly Coentrão, and Pepe stupidly out for being a fucking idiot. We overall have a terrible team at the moment. We don't deserve to advance, and have no business in the knock out face. I expected way more from our team than this abysmal level of display. Like you I didn't celebrate the goal, I was more like "wow, LOL!". A team that puts itself in this type of situation like we are in now, doesn't deserve to advance. Really disappointed in the team. We don't stand a chance vs Ghana with this type of display. Only after the 1-2 goal did we remotely wake up. TEAM YOU'RE AT THE WORLD CUP. GROW SOME CHARACTER?

I feel sorry for Ghana honestly. The way they played like heroes vs Germany yesterday won over my heart. It's really unfortunate they have 1 pt. Ideally I'd like them to advance.

USA is playing with confidence. It's obvious from their play. Like you said high spirit and dedication. I'm really impressed. They're playing like heroes. The super hero costumes amongst the fans won me over completely, rofl.

And yeah the problem is 100% in us. I doubt Portuguese people really want Portugal to advance like this. We don't enjoy Portugal playing like this. When a wounded animal is in pain, put it out of its misery.
