The argument on the players playing in Europe was including Brasil and Argentina because I was explaining the performances of Costa Rica and US. Somehow, Leoat12 took this as a chance to attack Europpean teams and said it was a lame excuse. I still think it's a valid argument.

After that argument, I also explained that there was a bigger enthusiam toward the national team. (Still last page before Leoat12 response). Now, I just said that this enthusiasm is linked to poverty (not only to poverty but still linked). It's a logical continuation and yes, I launched a jab to Leoat12 but I was coming towards this anyway. Plus, as we are talking football, being obnoxious towards other nations is a sport in itself and sometimes I find it funny. Leoat12 basically wet his pants when talking about Brasil and is very dishonest in his analyses. You're not that different when talking about argentina. So, yeah, I play the big oaf to join the party but it's not entirely factless either.

I stop there as it's annoying the mods but this kind of bar discussions is part of football

anyway zelllogan... I think it could have been true in the past, but it isn't true anymore. Some people do view football as the only way out? yes, but it happens all around the world. It isn't the only way out anymore, that's a very narrow view of the world or the society. Poor people here in Brasil receive aid from the government to kept their kids on school, to buy food, etc. Te public school system level is very low(on college level it's the opposite), but at least it's a start. The government also offers scorlaship for people that doesn't have the grades to get in public colleges or money to pay private colleges... it also give loans for college studies(fair loans, not like the usa ones).
So thinking that we are better cuz of the poverty and football as the only way out isn't true.
We are one of the best of the wolrd cuz we have 200M in the country, football is the main sport, the second sport isn't eve close in popularity(volleyball nowadays) and we have been constantly good for almost a century.
USA has 300M people, so why they doesn't have a football team on this level? Cuz they kids can chose between basketball, american football, wrestling, baseball, athletics, etc
Meaning, we are usually better cuz we have a better "field" to pick players from... it's not because "people love the national team more"

Our mid-field is terrible right now, we can't pass through Cameroon defense that way. lol
Every single play of yours was through long range pass, but when we reach the attack we are superior in ability and give high danger. Mid-field is the problem.
Our defense is lacking as well, they're sleeping and giving too much space like it was in the match against Mexico.

Neymar was awesome although Cameroon guys are trying to send him to space.

the line they used was clearly on the wrong place... on the defenders foot... both fred and david luiz were in front of the denfense, the line that shloud be used is the ball line, not the defenders line.
I'm not sure, but on the other camera it looked like Fred was on the same line as the ball
