352 Itachi coloured finished

it's the first time I colour a picture with rain ^^

Seems I'm having problems with it loading. It seems like Imageshack is having problems because lately, things aren't loading properly. I reckon everyone should invest in a photobucket account, but I'm biased.

From what I can see it looks pretty good - looks like you've done a good job on Itachi himself, though the background looks a bit funny, but that could be because of the thumbnail?

no I'm simply not good in drawing backgrounds ^^

imageshak has some serious problems lately sooo I'll use my photobucket account (yes i have one ^^)
usually it's for college stuff but I guess I can't help it

Ah, I see it! You know you can generate clickable thumbnails with photobucket? You just check the box and then scroll down to where it says Generate HTML (and something else) code. Sorry if you already know this.

Yeah, I like Itachi himself - looks good!

Yeah I'm not good at doing BGs too (=P You can see by seeing my version of this panel)
Anyway Itachi looks pretty good =D

I know that I'm still an amateur but here is a tip for this BG XD:
Try to do the water more thin and a bit more faded and for the clouds try to get a reference from the sky (I mean I just remebered what colours the sky is when a storm is coming), do a gradient, and finnaly use some brush at low opacity to colour the clouds...LOL
Prob It won't look good, 'cause mine isn't...but this is what I've done XP

Yeah, we really need Amaretti to get his tutorial out! I've been noticing quite a few artists having trouble with BGs. I wonder if there are any good tutorials around for you guys that we could link to?
