Feedback Ads added

Just FYI to all members, we've now added ads to the site because my host requires them. I've put up popup ads... They will only pop up once every 24hours (or not at all if you have certain things installed).

If we have enough demand for banners instead of popups then we'll switch to that .

well for a long time a friend of mine hosted us for free^^; then when he decided that hosting wasn't something he wanted to do, he let his friend host us, which his friend requires us to put ads up.

And thus the ads you see now.

As for how much the site costs and what all we use, not sure .

hmmm you say you delete your cookies and stuff regularly right? that might be a reason . Anyways it should only be an once every 24 hour thing

They're not troublesome at all. Firefox blocks them for me. The only thing they do is bring my hopes up that maybe I got a new PM. (as Firefox blocks that popup as well, so I always see a little popup alert thing)

It's not the ads I'm worried about but the type of ads that pop-up. One of which was a scan for virus ad and such and such, from my experience these ads are quite the threat to me especially when I *accidently* cilck on them as soon as they pop up.

Very understandable. Pop-ups are an inconvenient necessity sometimes, but with all the pop up blockers available for browsers, and the fact that you guys have been able to get them to only pop up once in a 24 hour period of time (users will really appreciate that!), they shouldn't present much of a hassle. Some sites are so laden with them that they overwhelm pop up blockers, but the time limitation placed on the pop ups seems to have worked really well in that respect.

Thanks for making the pop ups as manageable as possible Njt!

edit: and one pop-up per day isn't in the least annoying >.< at least for perma-connected people with static ip >.<
