I have to agree with Mini_kinkin. This is a story about Yona, so her influence is to a certain degree unavoidable. You can argue of course how the scene should play out and to what degree Su-won should be influenced by Yona. Their meeting and conversation may as well be a trigger that makes him look for his own happiness in life, etc.
As the main character, her influence should be palpable. However not overdone.
Because Yona emotionally dealt better with the whole difficult situation than either Su-won or Hak, I don’t mind if she inspires them on this level.
It would be a problem if in few weeks/moths she took over the power and were shown as being a better King than Su-won or were shown as a more powerful warrior than Hak, this would be BS based on what we know and how Yona only recently started training archery and swordsmanship and how she has shown zero interest in ruling.
It is not a problem when the main character plays a major role, because the protagonist should do it, but how it is executed.
Princess Tutu and Utena also ended up as inspirational figures, though it is also true that in their cases you can easily argue that the writing was much stronger.
