@Coffee I feel that the left of your sig lacks something,
I know you had to leave it like that because of the animation but I think having something there might be better
and the arrows looks a little out of place, it stands out too much.
But I really like your choice of colors and render/background.

ya, Im always worried about that different, people with different settings see all these sigs differently.......

I dont have to have anything the same as the only thing Im doing in the animation is fading in another gradient map in and out~

Hmmm. Were you trying to make the sig have like a flashy point of view or something? I think I'm wording it weirdly but I'm talking about those kinds of action scenes where it's very bright but at the same time there are shadows that make the characters visible. If that's what you were trying to do, I think if you were to adjust some areas like the faces or the background the sig might still work.

ya ya, that could still work, maybe add something to darken it up slightly in the middle as well?

Nah I can't ... I already gave up on it :S The picture I used is so bad that it doesn't help at all. I deliberately made it so bright to cover up the absence of swords (I don't feel like drawing them myself) there wasn't any clash between the two characters.

The sky? I'm thinking of either doing someone falling in it. That or something else I find more interesting.

The new contest is up, and the theme this time is sky. I hope that this theme should be pretty easy since it can be about anything as long as you prominently feature the sky. The simplest way to do this would be a sky background. If you wanted to try a little harder with the theme, you could try making your submission with the sky as the main subject by basing it around things associated with the sky (e.g., celestial objects, clouds, birds in flight, etc.), the sky itself, or things with the word "sky" in the name. (People and characters named "Sky" or "Skye" are also valid.) I look forward to the new heights to which all of you soar!

Also, as you know, I am typically rather secretive about future contest themes, but for the theme following this one, I had wanted to do the second collaboration contest that was suggested a while back. (No, I hadn't forgotten! ) For that to work though, you will need to partner up with another Sig Contest artist. So, I am telling you now, and you have two weeks to find a partner for the next contest!

Do you really think so? This seemed like a pretty simple theme to me. In what ways do you find it difficult?

If you need help coming up with ideas, feel free to ask for suggestions in this thread. Besides the possible ideas I suggested in my previous post, another one that just came to me was sky as an element (like fire, wind, water, etc.). In some fictional works, sky is treated as its own element. There was also what Gintara suggested she might do with someone/something falling from the sky.

If you think hard enough, I am sure you can come up with something really great.
