Well fair enough, but why fixate on one candidate? And how is a private jet considered misuse of donations when they use it to campaign and the office they're running for has an entire 747 to himself paid for with tax money?

Ah well, maybe he needs to ratchet up the donations then...maybe it's a sign similar to Jeb not affording them anymore? Or perhaps he's decided to make a public point of doing so due to his past personal debt issues, who knows. Either way it's a non-issue to me. People donate to help people further their campaign, using private jets during a highly-congested travel time (the holidays) means diddly-squat about him as a person or a candidate. Just like it doesn't really mean anything that Rubio has decided not to. Plus, if Rubio's campaign starts to pick up steam, let's wait and see if he's still only flying commercial. I can guarantee he won't if he wins the primary, winning the entire financial backing of his party.

Could have seen that coming. Fuck evidence, it was common sense they were going to use Trump's anti-Islam speeches to recruit sacrifices. This is one of the reasons why I'm convinced Trump could secretly be working for the ISIS, and why republicans' views towards Islam are dumb.

I dont see anything wrong with Marco Rubio's finances, again it places him in line to better relate to the average American. Surely one would find it easier to relate to him than to millionaires like Hillary Clinton or Mr Trump or even Bernie Sanders near ~millionaire status.

The guy is massively in debt, used the party's credit card for personal expenses, which is to say he stole money, and bought a boat while being massively in debt. His financial situation is entirely self inflicted exclusively because of his irresponsibility. That is not a situation applicable to the average american. And even if it was, it'd be worst for him. The republican dogma in the budget area is to cut costs and whatnot. How can rubio be expected to adhere to the dogma if we consider his background?

His debt is from student loans, which most of the american population has and most americans are in self inflicted debt, who gets into debt in means that are not self inflicted, people *dont* have to buy stuff or go to college or buy a house or buy a car. And the last articles say he used a partys card for personal expenses years ago but not current, so I don't see the issue as that big and even if it was he would have been tried by law for it which doesnt appear to be the case.

Trump is a major idiot. I bet he'd probably go vacationing somewhere or something if he was in Obama's shoes. There's nothing wrong with Obama wanting to spend time with his family, and he's still done more good than Bush.

He's against these large banks, like JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo. Allowing them to merge and get so large puts the economy at risk when things go south. That way we wouldn't need to bail them out again to prevent the economy from collapsing. He's also for reinstating the Glass-Steagall Act, which requires banks to specialize in lending, trading, or insurance. This was perfectly fine from the Great Depression until 1999, when Clinton repealed it.

It's not as simple as right or wrong, it's whether you really want these mega-banks to continue going unchecked.

Definitely agree - there needs to be checks and balances for a reason.
We have seen what happens when those are removed already. Leads nothing but to worsening of corruption.

Trump is an idiot? I have the opposite opinion of the man. The impression that I get is that while he is anti-intellectual, he comes off as rather cunning. The only other Republican candidate who even remotely approaches Trump's skill at playing the Republican base is Cruz.

Clinton beats Sanders out of the water anytime at any place for the simple fact that the vast majority of the Democratic base believes that Clinton has the best chances of winning the presidency. The vast majority of voters do not care about issues such as gun control. The mentality of voters is best described as "us vs. them". Same reason the Democrats have a better shot of winning the presidency than the Republicans. The anti-Republican vote is a whole lot larger and influential than the anti-Democratic vote thanks to the country's current demographics.

There isn't such a thing as a gun control market. As it is the gun market in the US is largely unregulated and pretty much anyone can buy a gun. And the result is the US having the highest rates of hin violence among first world countries and a huge number of weapons in the black market. The gun market does not regulate itself in a manner helpful to society and us gun culture does not help.

I don't know how cunning he is, but he knows how to appeal to people. Or at least, knows that people hate political correctness and is not afraid to look like a fool to destroy the idea of PC.

I'm choosing a candidate based on what he can do for America, and Bernie seems to do a lot more. I'm not sure why it matters in this case though, isn't Bernie for guns? Gun control market isn't doing shit, it's still easy for people to get their hands on guns and kill each other. Gun fanatics are just too obsessed with the idea of having guns over safety of people.

Is that as important, or is that important only because Rubio brought it up? Seems like you're against anything democrats do, but you give the republicans a pass when they're worse.
