If it was about that, they would have to go the opposite way. The woman that abort babies will more likely vote democratic than they will vote republican, so their children are also likely to vote more democratic than republican.
Also, people under 50 vote majorly democratic. For republicans, if it was about voting, the lower the birthrate, the better.

I think it is about the fact that they CAN control this more than about controlling it being a goal in itself.
That doesn't make sense at all.

Of course they aren't equal. But beyond that, both views amount to both sides seeing themselves as the good guys who are fighting abject evil and there no acknowledgement whatsoever of what the other side is saying.
Depends on who you're talking about. Republican politicians don't see themselves as the good guys, I'm betting, while many voters probably think they're good.

Left of center acknowledges what conservatives are saying, they just don't agree with the stupidity.

There is a massive segment of elderly who get all their news from TV that vote democrat.

The over 50 bracket is often democrat dominated, the largest viewing demographic of CNN.

While under 50 lean in the opposite direction, being the largest adopters of cryptocurrencies and narratives democrats oppose.

Our latest baby formula shortage could be one indication democrats are losing the battle for our nation's youth.

Well, I think one side is about being subjected to oppression from the government that's deep-seeded in societal issues that have existed forever. Being against that is about as righteous as you can be IMO, and there's no reason to acknowledge the other side's gripes. They're not starting from the same place at all.
But why? Opposition to this makes sense but why is there a need to outright deny what the other side is actively claiming? The claims are not equal but just saying the other side is going for enslavement rather that abortion as they've been saying for decades is about as conspiratorial as cannibal rapist democrats. I don't think the left wing has the guns to back up a stance like this anyways so... um, hope the bear arms are bulletproof?

I think it is generally a very potent strategy for the left to be resolute but not overplay.
As in, i think antiradicals and leftists are often most successful at places where they do not frame the whole right as enemy, but just the far right and aside from that just fight for their topics with a realistic goalsetting.

THat is not exactly glorious, but it has longterm effects.

Majority of the right, if not the whole right, are the enemy though. How are they not when they spend time stripping away freedom and rights for anyone who's not a wealthy, straight, and white Christian male? The left get shit mostly for opposing bigotry, but the right endorse bigotry and somehow get away with it.

Define "often"? It's something like 56% of all Republican and Republican-leaning voters are over 50.

Wtf does baby formula shortages have to do with "the nation's youth"? Supply chain compounded by product recalls has what to do with politics?

Like I said before, it's not limited to abortions, that is not the only issue here. And while colorful language and hyperbole may be used, painting reproductive rights and the use of contraception as moral degeneracy is a real thing that people in power do, and is being used as motivation to disenfranchise certain people for very real reasons. Oppression is oppression, getting caught up in the terminology is nothing more than a distraction. No one is going to the abortion clinic because they want to be a murderer, but there are definitely certain people who wish to make and change these laws because they don't see women or minorities as equals. That is why certain terms are used. If you want to fixate on that, be my guest, but I fail to see the significance ultimately. To be frank, I think that is justification for indignation by people with poor logical grounding. Complaining about being called names while you continue to push to remove people's rights and agency is for show and nothing else IMO.

That is an outdated and obsolete statistic.

CNN's largest viewer demographic is near to the 50 and over age bracket.

The biggest fans of "Trump is too mentally unstable to have nuclear launch codes" is close to 50 years of age.

I do think there are quite a sizeable chunk of people that are not on board with democrats but are generally winnable for leftist causes like medicare, job security and fair taxation but that are put off by policies like "defund the police" or other kinds of divisive policy framings.

Defund the police is a good and right idea, but the way it was pushed forward did scare off some voters. Leftists often say that most people are on board with their policies, and often that is true, but they neglect that they also support some things only a stark minority is for and a majority is actively scared of (often because it gets communicated in a bad way).

I also do not think in "enemies". I think the biggest problem in the US is that more and more people do not live in reality anymore and are easily controllable by conspiracy theories, thus are impossible to really "convince". But especially in southern states, i think different kinds of policies and framings can win elections for democrats. We can see that in georgia and i dont think georgia is the only state like that.

My statistic is from 2019/2020 but this graphic you're showing is from 10-20 years ago and mine is outdated?

Plus this is about viewership on those networks, it has nothing to do with news channels... Even if you wanted to bring up the news programs networks have, they don't air in primetime either.

Even if that was true, you're talking about that demographic within Liberals, not everyone, so...

Viewership on tv channels vs voting tendencies is not apples to apples either

Not surprised with the Russian army proving itself incompetent over and over again. The Russian army is composed of nothing but cannon fodder, well-connected senior officers, and junior officers, who are the sons of the senior officers. They have no NCOs, so no enlisted group with institutional memory, nor training, nor technical competence. All of that is thrust upon the shoulders of junior officers, who are not adept at fulfilling the many tasks assigned to them. The Russian army has a well-deserved reputation for recruitment problems because of rampant hazing, rape, and debauchery of new recruits. Nobody who is worth a lick of salt would offer any kind of creative solution in that type of working environment.

It takes just one man to sink a ship during combat and it takes just one man to ask a difficult question in difficult times to save it. EVERYONE makes mistakes. When second lieutenants get together to plan an operation, the result is predictable. That’s why those are called a “clusterfuck” (oak leaf clusters).

@Sanity Check is this latest mass shooting in Buffalo by a white supremacist enough for you to rescind your claim that white supremacy isn't real or that it's a "boogeyman"? I'm just curious

Is buffalo (new york) a democrat or republican region.

Statistically the shooter is more likely to be a registered democrat due to the area being pro Biden / pro democrat.

(The media says things and where is the evidence to support it.)

I think most of us stopped blindly believing the media awhile ago.

Cost savings is russia's #1 goal.

-Tanks cost $1 million, jet fighters $100 million, this is the motive behind russia deploying tanks with no air cover
-Jet fighters also have higher maintenance and ordnance costs in contrast to tanks
-Russia's invasion force is composed primarily of conscripts due to their wage being significantly less than professional soldiers

Russia's current invasion of ukraine is of similar competence level to china's army, which also is built on conscripts and a lack of professional career soldiers.

Its like a dry run of what china's invasion of taiwan and other regions would resemble if they were given a green light.

When you go to a restaurant or local store, do you check whether it's run by Democrats or Republicans before you go there? What about when you have to hire a contractor? It has such a level of significance for you, that you bring up party affiliation where it's never mentioned, so was just wondering.

You still didn't answer my question though... unless the answer is the media is lying about who this person is and why he did it?

BTW, he drove 3 hours to Buffalo to do the shooting, so he's not even from there. He lives in Broome County, which is statistically purple.

Yet again, you demonstrate that you don't know what you're talking about.

During COVID.

Americans fled democrat states to migrate to red states in high numbers.

You approach these topics as if there were no difference between blue and red states or no difference in leadership and regulation by both parties.

I think most would disagree with that assessment for basic and fundamental reasons.

...

Driving 3 hours to commit a mass shooting is suspicious and shady behavior btw. It needs explaining.

But you're changing the subject, It has nothing to do with the question I asked.

You said it happened in a Democratic area, whether that's true or not what relevance does it have to me asking whether you still hold your stance that white supremacy doesn't exist?

You were ignorant to the fact that he traveled 3 hours to commit the act, and he did so because there was a higher black and minority population there. He wrote a 200 page manifesto explaining himself. I guess that's suspicious too?

He did explain it... over the expanse of 200 pages.

Figure out why many americans miigrated from democrat blue states to republican red states.

And you'll answer your own question.

Those americans like white supremacy....?

Since this silly blue-red state dichotomy is the only response you have regardless of topic, I'm forced to draw my own conclusions using it. Your fault, not mine.

You claim red state versus blue state doesn't matter.

But if it doesn't matter why do wealthy billionaires like Joe Rogan and Elon Musk leave democrat california for republican texas in high numbers.

Burden of proof is on you to back up your claims, all population and migration trends indicate otherwise.
