Wow, only good thing Rubio has done is not like Cruz.

Hmm, the way I see it, Trump will destroy US socially, Bernie will probably destroy it economically, Cruz will destroy freedom and rights, and Hillary will... idk. Though, at least with Bernie we keep as much right and freedom as possible while with Trump, businesses may move back to the US and create jobs, although wealthy will get wealthier and the poor will get poorer.

So basically, no matter who wins, America already lost something, from that...

Now i really do not think Sanders is removed from reality.
It is true that some of the things he plans won't be possible (and i guess he knows that), but other than that, he wouldnt be on the far left in most european countries and those are just fine mostly.

Sanders isn't removed from reality at all... Most, if not all, of the things he is proposing the US should aim for are things which already already exist is most other developed nations. He isn't proposing stuff that has never been done or ideological mumbo jumbo.... There isn't a rational reason the US, the most powerful nation in the world, should have less stuff than other developed nations. I mean, you have plenty of european countries with universal health care, universal access to universities (if you are accepted of course) and a number of other services while all of that being sustainable. What makes those places so much better than the US that for the US to have the same things they would need a tree which grows free stuff? The US is the only developed nation in the world where their right wing argues against universal health care. In turn in other developed nations univesal health care is simply a basic fact defended by even the right wing. Sanders is a social democrat, his "socialism" is more like barely center.

But i would like to add that it is harder to install some things in the US (because we have to take into account how big the US is, that its system gives its different states a lot of freedom and that its different parts are more divided than in the smaller european countries).

It will be a long struggle until a universal healthcare system is running smoothly.

But it has to be done. A lot of effort has to be done for social issues in the US, because i think that this is its most staggering flaw.
An America with a fairer justice system and exspecially better regulated prisons which put effort into getting the people back into society.
An America which puts effort into building up low income and high crime districts.
An America which, to put it into known emotional phrasing, does not leave a child behind nor its parents.
An America in which there actually is a chance to be a low income worker and become wealthy.

That would be much closer to the image the US once liked to give itself as the best of all possible nations to live in.

I would see a chance in clinton's term to at least be a little step into the roughly right direction on these issues (even if i would like sanders more, but it is not going to happen).
I would sure as hell see cruz or trump going far away from that ideal.

Europe could even help with financing those things by enabling the US to diminish its military budget (because the US wont have to use as much money as it does if the other nato partner are a bigger help), but that is also a thing which is probably not going to happen to a significant degree (even if the british actually are reliable partners and germany at least promised to take a bit more responsibility inside the nato).

tbf, I see dumbass people as problems. A lot of Americans, especially republicans, seem to have a problem with people having same or similar chances as they do or getting free stuff that they need, and I think Sharkbait just proves this point when he kept insisting poor people had the same chances as wealthy people. I don't see us making much of a headway until we change how majority thinks.
Raise the issue of increasing minimum wage, and people will complain and call a lot of hardworking people lazy or argue they don't deserve it or some other dumb shit, and almost always bring up that other professions would make less.

Agreed, this is by no means something which is easy to implement. Considering the republican party and US as a whole a shift to universal health care would take no less than a gigantic cultural change at the national level. Just looking at the republican party the issue is not that universal health care would be too impractical or such things. The issue is it being immoral, communist and god knows what else. Obamacare, which is basically the first step of a first step of a first step towards such a thing has been demonized to a ridiculous degree. People talk about repealing it even though it would live literally millions without access to health care rather than, you know, improving it.

With prisons you see a similar thing. At this point changing that takes a nationwide cultural change. Prisons are supposed to be punishment, they are supposed to be hell for the people in there. Even though it has already been proven beyond reasonable doubt that prisons pretty much turn people into worst criminals, exactly the opposite of its actual point. Tough on crime remains a thing even though it is a matter of fact that tough on crime does not work. Heck, even scared straight programs not only don't work but make things worst. At least in this context the US, along with the rest of the world, has to assume that absolutely everything they think they know is wrong to the point of being the exact opposite of the truth.

Bernie won Indiana, but I dunno. Seems too many people are dumb, which is why Hillary and Trump are popular. Don't care about Cruz dropping out, they both (Trump and Cruz) are equal levels of shitheads. I was more upset at Rubio dropping out because while he was a shithead, he was less of a shithead.

Hopefully the good lord decides to show us mercy and has Bernie beat Hillary and then Trump. I'd rather have a good president who actually cares about the people over a president who only cares about the wealthy, and I'm sure Hillary and Trump would do nothing no matter what evils the wealthy do.
