Remember when Sanders said he was anti-establishment?

Man he really ripped off his supporters for all the donations which eventually went to Clinton.

Nah, quite honestly, he did the exact opposit of that.

Even after it was clear he was losing he fought with clinton for a good deal of her changing her policies more to the left in exchange for him endorsing her.

He really did all he could to bring through as much of his ideas as he possibly could.
He fought so that the voice of the people who voted for him is heard.

Edit: honestly, i really dislike it when people get hate for actually being responsible.
All the Bernie bros who go ballistic now and feel betrayed are annoying me.
I would have wished Sanders the win, but he played the cards he got really well for a good cause.
There is nothing to hate there, really.
People who wanted him to not endorse clinton want him to choose pride over responsibility, and that is not a good trait of a politician in my opinion.

He "fought" in vain. Clinton is a huge liar, extremely careless, and in Sanders' own words "not qualified for presidency". If you actually think a word Sanders said didn't fall on deaf ears with Clinton then you're incredibly naive.

Sanders endorsing her invalidates his entire candidacy, since he ran his campaign as a "revolution against the 1%", yet bowed to her afterwards like nothing happened. Sad!

You could say the same thing and sub in Trump's name instead of Sanders if he really is picking Gingrich as his running mate.

Pretty sure? Based on what? :4head

Supposedly Fox News has suspended Gingrich's contract with them, so that's an awfully gigantic coincidence if he isn't going to be his VP.

I don't see why this would be true at all. Under this logic if he made it to president and he in any form or context ever made a concession he would also have betrayed his followers. Sanders has made the point that the important thing is policy. He ran his entire campaign on the premise that policy was the priority. He didn't even discuss hillary's emails because what he cared about was policy... Sanders got hillary and the democratic party to change their platforms and embrace several of his proposals. Sanders is not going to be president but that is still a big deal for the party.

Bernie Sanders supporters, well the vocal ones, seem to all be the same, bitter, complaining that he lost because a few polling places had unconfirmed issues, or blaming his loss of little to no media focus, which by his large amount of grassroots fundraising would imply he was actually having great reach. Also these people seem to be, Sanders or were not voting at all, so I think they will help to move the Republican agenda forward since they wont vote for Clinton.

Sanders could have done more by not abandoning the south states or ignoring minorities like black lives.

Sanders is still a cuck disappointment. Nothing about the campaign he ran is compatible with who Clinton is. The guy is well into his seventies, has no legacy to worry over, has no party loyalty and if he stuck to his guns and refused to endorse her, it wouldn't have hurt his popularity in Vermont either. This decision of his is a bit of a contradiction to the principled conviction he insisted upon having during his campaign. If the Republican nominee wasn't Trump, I wonder if he'd even bother letting down so many of his supporters and muddling his message.

What reality are you from honestly? How does describing what happened require the use of words like "abandoning" or "ignoring"? Politicians campaign more in states in which they seem to have a chance to win. That's why you won't see Trump in traditional blue states either. And I don't even know where you get the idea that he was ignoring minorities...:lmao

He had no state in which he won more black voters than Hillary Clinton which means he ignored spending any time with them.

Yeah sure, because winning votes simply comes down to whether you try hard enough or not. Get real.

Not visiting those states before they were about to vote was a mistake. Why would they vote for someone in the general election if they wont even visit the state during primary season? Its like voting for a mayor who only campaigns in the state capitol but never visits the hometown he will be serving in.

It's a stupid move on all accounts. Gingrich doesn't add anything to his campaign at all which would secure more voters. He has many other better choices. He also confirmed there is a list of people, so he will definitely pick the most beneficial out of all which Gingrich surely isnt.

All this is more based than your "fox news told me" or other conspiracy theories. Which surprises me, I didn't think you're the type to think things based on very few and meaningless points.

What about what you're saying here changes my point? You're boiling this down to him not winning more southern states because he didn't campaign there enough. As if spending money on campaigning in places where he didn't have good chances would have resulted in him winning. That's not how political campaigns work.

He adds experience, intelligence, and establishment support. That's hardly nothing.

"Fox news told me"? How is this a conspiracy? This is the only tangible evidence we have for someone aside from people supposedly on his "list". What else is there to go off of? Gossip? It's a decent clue, nothing more or less. Chill out.

To be honest I don't think sanders really cares all that much about who clinton is or his overall popularity (that is a bit contradictory when it comes to politicians but still). Didn't he walk up to democrats a while ago and told them that the goal wasn't to win elections? Sanders doesn't give a fuck.... At least not about hillary or how popular he is. He endorsed hillary because he got a number of concessions when it came to policies. And correct me if I am wrong, but hasn't sanders lways been like that, making policy more important than anything? Sanders got behind hillary because she changed her platform policies to one he could get behind.

Sanders proposal that Clinton agreed on, the no college tuition for people who make under $120K a year is baffling. Whose going to pay for this, are private universities going to go the way of the dino?

Low- and middle-income students would pay nothing for tuition at in-state public colleges under a new part of her college affordability plan unveiled Wednesday.

Any student whose family earns $85,000 or less would be eligible at first. The income level would go up by $10,000 each year until 2021, when anyone whose family makes $125,000 a year or less would go tuition-free.

Propaganda is one of the biggest reasons (if not, THE biggest) why people join ISIS/Daesh (some thought it was going to be an Islamic Utopia, which some of them were shocked to learn the truth behind the organization). Granted, while there were people who joined the group because they're nutjobs/religious fanatics, it also relates to the nature around the third-world countries. Things such as unemployment or not having a wife/family (mainly the Single status) really plays a key to ISIS' recruitment, while ISIS grants members with salaries, a wife (or wives), and even power/authority over others.
But the reason why I mentioned propaganda being the biggest reason is simple: You want to show people scenes where they'll get angry about, something such as bombing mosques or blowing up cities. The Iraqi war and various previous wars in the middle east have enough clips to show it to people and tell them things like "See what happened here? People are being killed because the infidels are declaring war on Islam!" something like that on the line.
The saddest thing is that the young men in their early 20s are more likely to be affected by the propaganda.

So regarding to the US Election, I'll just state my personal opinion about it here: It's awful. I was born in the country, but lived overseas for most of my life until I moved during my High School Years. Being an American and having the ability to vote out of pride really does move me, especially when I was young. I couldn't vote during the 2012 Election Year because I couldn't be 18 until December (yeah, it sucked, but it wasn't that big of a deal to begin with). Now that I have reached the age to vote, I have the option between a guy who doesn't think things through while calling people names under a temper tantrum attitude and a corrupted DINO known for a ton of scandals (I'm not even going to bother calling both of them liars, because you can't become a politician without becoming a liar). Sure, you can argue that Gary Johnson is my third option, but I doubt people will shift their positions to support a Libertarian.
Honestly, I don't think I have ever seen or even read a type of election year where it's too controversial. Trump is a lunatic who calls Mexicans murderers and rapists (I get what he's saying: He's saying that Illegal Immigration is an issue, but he could've at least said it properly and mannerly like "Illegal Immigrants are coming to the country and hurting our citizens"), insulted a disabled reporter, and so many horrible things. Hillary is a crook and the only "moderate Republican" left; it also doesn't help with the Benghazi incident, emails, and even the coal mine speech where she says she'll shut down coal miners.
What I'm trying to say is this: Theodore Roosevelt, JFK, and even Ronald Reagan inspired people to go out and vote. The two candidates we have are uninspiring, and that's what I'm upset about this Election Year.
I think so too, which is why we need to take steps to solve this, not accuse Muslims of being terrorists or making all of them apologize for actions of few. People like Trump will just make things worse.

What's wrong with shutting down coal mining?

Oh please. "Everyone knew"? Trump got ridiculed everywhere after his statement about Brussels, I remember seeing most news report on his "baseless outrageous claims" and don't remember anyone saying he's right or that "everyone knows". There was even the hillarious "call brussels" ad.

Trump won in court iirc. Interestingly enough the university story was a big deal before, but after Trump won nobody cared anymore, the result wasn't even overly reported. Makes you wonder..
The University story wasn't really that big of a deal here, I rarely saw the papers or anyone bring it up. Almost everyone brings up Hillary being deceitful or full of shit, while not even mentioning Trump being under investigation. But then, Trump supporters are so full of double standards. Apparently it's okay for supporters to attack protesters, but if the protesters retaliate, the supporters somehow are painted as victims.

Remember when Sanders said he was anti-establishment?

Man he really ripped off his supporters for all the donations which eventually went to Clinton.
I see it as Bernie preferring Hillary over Trump. He likely sees Trump as the worse choice, and he wants to make sure Trump doesn't win. I don't see how he sold out, or what's wrong with this. Chris Christie joining Trump is way worse, and you can see how desperate he is to get some kind of benefit. At least I'm sure Bernie wants to make sure Hillary beats Trump.
Sanders could have done more by not abandoning the south states or ignoring minorities like black lives.
Stop reading conservative crap only. There are plenty of articles saying Bernie hired a BLM supporter to help him with this campaign. He never ignored black people, and I think he's the only one who hired a BLM supporter. Funnily enough, Trump himself said he'd beat up BLM supporters if they showed up at his rally, so it boggles me as to why any black people would support him.

Who puts that much weight in campaign promises? If he honestly believes he can trust Clinton of all people with such things, he's a moron. If you're to believe what he says, the reason he's endorsing her is because she isn't Trump. And this is the thinking most undecided voters are probably going to use in November as well.

The proposal has nothing to do with private schools? The article literally mentions public colleges.

black lives matters has proven to be racists and almost terrorists and offensive to cops. How do they protest cops when there are black cops, I dont understand their logic or positions and they are too disruptive.

you claim people should get education if they want to make it far in life and be successful, but you seem to be against letting people get education
College is a privilege that people should buy into, having everyone and their grandma receive full tuition support from tax payers is baffling and offensives. Its too risky to support people bound to fail.

The proposal has nothing to do with private schools? The article literally mentions public colleges.
Which is why I said thats going to happen to them, since they wont be getting the support for tuition like public schools will, who will reasonably pay top dollar costs to go to them?

I don't think so. I don't think he really abandoned anyone. he had trouble against clinton exspecially when it comes to black people because the clintons have a traditionally good standing with those groups.
but it was never his focus to go too much into racial or feminist issues.
His agenda was bringing worth a left turn in the democratic party, and he accomplished that.
I don't think he could have done anything to get black votes against clinton.

I am not naive. Clinton knows the political game, and if you look at bill's term (on which she had a huge influence) you can see that he tried to keep most promises he made.
There is no reason to believe hillary is stupid enough to not do what she said there.
She has no benefit from it.

Edit: Basically, you can compare clinton to merkel.
Merkel, before she became chancellor, had another position. She was not in charge and the country was more conservative. Back then, she said a lot of things which are basically the opposite of what she says now. Merkel, however, was smart enough to not deny she ever said that and went the 'oh well, opinions change and situations change' route, which people accepted.
But that's another story.

Thing is, clinton can have two possible motivators to do something: either she thinks it is a good reform or deed, or she thinks it benefits her personally.

Keeping her promises on voting should be a nobrainer for all feasible reforms sanders wanted if she knows it gives her popularity bonus points.
She just thought it wouldnt, before, and quickly corrected her stance.
