I am not sure of what you mean by filming in the private sector. Well, if they aren't violating any laws my question would still be: why? Realistically speaking it makes a lot more sense to simply make it harder or impossible for illegal immigrants to get jobs that to focus on mass deportations. If they restrict jobs for illegal immigrants then immigrants would basically go back home instead of having to deport them. On the other hand if this is simply impossible to regulate then it makes more sense....
As far as I'm aware of, filming in private sectors (let's say places like the Slaughter House) are not covered by the first Amendment because it contradicts the company's right of privacy. Unless there is probable cause, the Government aren't just going to confront companies and asks them "Do you hire Illegals?"
I suppose it's more difficult to enforce such regulation, which would require a lot more money to cover these investigations.

So then you agree that "bad" jobs can be made better by raising the minimum wage?
That makes it seem like "pay" is what determines if a job is good or bad, would someone who sells their body sexually and receives a high pay be considered a good job?

What makes a job good or bad is the ability for it to meaningfully change the lives of others and advance humankind. These do tend to be high paying jobs (business leaders and execs, scientists, engineers, healthcare/pharmacy, financial sector)

I know in regards to private residences, filming isn't done in them by police because there is what is referred to as "a reasonable expectation of privacy". This doesn't exist outside and I'm not certain if it exists in the same way for places of business either. Like, it might be different for a factor compared to a place where goods are actually sold.

That makes it seem like "pay" is what determines if a job is good or bad, would someone who sells their body sexually and receives a high pay be considered a good job?
I believe that this is up to the person's discretion.

What makes a job good or bad is the ability for it to meaningfully change the lives of others and advance humankind. These do tend to be high paying jobs (business leaders and execs, scientists, engineers, healthcare/pharmacy, financial sector)
So then who should work the jobs that aren't like this? We should just let these lowly people waste away until they're replaced by robots?

Taxi drivers and other drivers are going to be replaced by automatons, customer service agents, hotel receptionist, store checkout workers, and even warehouse workers are being replaced by automatons, its only a matter of time until more bad job workers are replaced, so investing in resources to assist bad workers is a bad utilization of resources. We could divert the resources to enhancing the research into the use and deployment of more automatons.

What about all those "bad jobs" in the fossil fuel industry? Should we replace those with automatons as well? Or is never diverting resources from that acceptable?

But those arent bad jobs, they are directly benefiting the advancement of mankind and the betterment of lives. Lets not forget they are greatly contributing to American being an energy leader

It's different in the major farm states I suppose, but the hiring of illegals where I live is usually related to manual labor involved in construction or doing grunt work in the food industry or janitorial services. The reason it's tough to enforce is that these people aren't usually on the books. It would require law enforcement to regularly visit all of the places illegals might work on a regular basis to actually catch businesses in the act. And even if we had the manpower to do that, they would just find employment at the next place, etc. Penalties would have to be after the fact and harsher than hell, and for most politicians this looks "anti-business". For an area like mine, another issue is metropolitan areas called "sanctuary cities" that do not prosecute individuals solely on the basis of them being undocumented. There's so many layers to this issue really. Like, even if you could penalize any business that hires them, would it make up the difference of the money businesses save by not paying citizens in the first place? Even if you could prevent all of it, where is the assurance that jobs done by illegals would be filled by citizens?
What I had in mind wasn't investigations at all places all the time. Whether on or off the books they should have a pretty good idea of what industries are most likely to hire illegal help to begin with. Odds are they government could change how things are registered in books and whatnot to make it increasingly harder for companies to hire illegal help. I don't see the issue with punishing people after the fact though. If anything, that is how things should work. One of the things I have read on the issue is that it is not mandatory (and sometimes illegal) to have companies check the migratory status of people applying for jobs. I don't see why checking that would be wrong if the documentation was easy to get for citizens and companies could reliably expect people who have that documentation to be citizens.

Who else would do the jobs? The way I see it the jobs in question would have to be done by someone anyways. If the work in question is not done by illegal immigrants or nationals then who would be doing it? The land would still need plowing, buildings would still need building and so on... It would just be more expensive. I guess the worst case scenario would be outsourcing or automation depending on the business. But that could be solved if there is a path for people to be able to work at the US with work visas and whatnot (which I have read used to be a thing).

They should be able to afford it in their well paying job. If they cant afford healthcare then they should get a good job. Its not my desire for people to have bad jobs. Bad jobs ought not exist.
But they do and trump won't change that.
Your logic simply means some poor sap cannot afford to go to the doctor. Nor can his family, potentially.

They can still go to the doctor. No hospital in america would turn someone away if theyre in threat dying.

Ah, I see. Thanks for the clarification.

That makes it seem like "pay" is what determines if a job is good or bad, would someone who sells their body sexually and receives a high pay be considered a good job?
I see two major problems about this.
First problem is that you're comparing prostitution (a position where people are in dire of needing money just for survival) to an actual job where you're having an impact to society. If there were enough good jobs, then they wouldn't have to deal with becoming prostitutes to begin with.
Second problem is that getting paid more isn't a bad thing. What this does is encourages people to spend, which puts money into circulation and benefits the economy as a whole. Simple economics.

That is an advertisement paid for by the fossil fuel lobby...you're really going to use that an example of credible information? It still has nothing to do with my point though. Why is a coal miner important to you, but a taxi driver not?

I wasn't trying to imply anything to the contrary, bad phrasing on my part I guess.

Who else would do the jobs? The way I see it the jobs in question would have to be done by someone anyways. If the work in question is not done by illegal immigrants or nationals then who would be doing it?
The implication in a hick's mind is that Americans would. But in reality, you would have the government harshly penalizing a business for hiring illegals and then forcing them to also pay Americans more for the same job. The implication here is that unemployed people with the ability to work would be able to work those jobs. The reality is, if Trump deported every illegal in the country, the economy would collapse.

But they turn away people who are not in immediet threat of dying but suffer from a disease destroying their life.
If you are sick and dont know what you have, no doctor will even examine you unless u got the money.
So how will u even know you got something serious? You simply wont get treatment until you are basically dying.

Why would a person who drives a car be more valuable than a hard working man in a coal mine risking his life to generate energy for america, energy to power hospitals to heal the sick?

Public transportation isn't important? How do people get to hospitals for care without professional drivers?

I mean, one could even argue that automatons are needed even more in the coal industry due to the danger involved.

You shouldnt be using public transportation to get to the hospital. Its unsafe.

Automatons need coal workers for fuel. And the exhaust from automatons could cause coal mine collapse.

I dont benefit from Obamacare, in fact, I had to pay more for the same healthcare. Its terrible and a waste. Employers should continue to sponsor healthcare for benefits for those who work, or else everyone else can just use private healthcare. Government should not touch it.
Employers are sponsoring healthcare for benefits for those who work, usually at least 40 hours per week. If you're a part-time worker, you most likely aren't getting any benefit.

It might be, but there's nothing wrong with someone who sells his or her body sexually.

Most jobs don't really meaningfully change the lives of others or advance mankind. Financial sector tends to take money and foreclose homes if loans aren't paid on time, and business leaders can do shady things. Enron? Hurt our economy when scandals came out. I think even healthcare/pharmacy are against marijuana because it has better health effects than most drugs they push out.

Since people get charged more for using an ambulance I thought people prefer opting for their own transportation to get to hospitals.

Videos have always shown them operating coal trains in coal mines to carry the coal, is this not the form of transportation used?

Companies are often formed with the premise of saving the world by [insert task] one at a time. Financial sector positions are necessary for helping companies get started, find investors, and helping them grow. So these are necessary jobs to better mankind.
