The headlines there aren't doing the GOP any favors. Their point of view isn't necessarily that of someone wanting to burn entire wildlife sanctuaries to the ground. The ESA does have some valid criticisms IMO.
I would support the GOP in abolishing the ESA, however, there needs to be an alternative or a substitution that does the same thing as the ESA or better (and knowing them, they don't have any alternatives to this considering how they plan on repealing the ACA without any forms of replacements).
It's not an issue of competence IMO. The issue here is entirely ideological. Why would a republican, someone who thinks of any and almost all regulation as inherently evil, ever care to replace any of this? Look at the PPACA.... republicans have been talking about replacing it since it started. And yet, how many times have they actually presented any legislation to potentially replace obamacare? To the best of my knowledge, none. And yet, they have tried to repeal it no less than 50 something times. Replacing obamacare, or any legislation with another, generally simply does not fit with republican ideology. Their end goal is to end most regulations to begin with. How can they claim all regulation is evil if they are proposing meaningful regulations themselves? What would they gain by replacing obamacare rather than repealing it? That would be like an pro abstinence republican believing it's a victory to convince teenagers to switch from intercourse to oral sex to avoid pregnancies.

Well, Devos as education secretary would indeed have extraordinary capacity to cause damage. I am surprised something like the voucher program can be a thing... US education certainly needs to improve to catch up to that of other developed nations however that does not justify what would seem to be an overt attack on public education.
They will line up wall street's favorite senator, Charles Schummer and orange will stay for 4 more years and then Pence will continue his legacy.
That's what I'm scared of. If the Democrats allowed such thing to happen, then that would be 2016 Election all over again. Their only bets is if someone like Sanders, Warren, or even Biden to run for presidency (mainly Biden IMO).
Biden is so weak IMO. I really doubt its going to be as bad as everyone makes it up to. Everyone thats bitching is just getting outta hand, to they point BEFORE he got inagurated hoping he would get impeached or even murdered. Everyone is acting like a complete horde of mindless zombies. And has anyone noticed the amount of companies getting their shit together and coming back to our country(Notice all those car companies coming back? Wow, that dead city called Detroit just got rekindled) . Even Walmart is bringing their call centers ETC back here, which means a lot of jobs. What I'm tired of is eveyone kissing Obama's ass and prasing him like hes Jesus or God. Sure, I think its great the things he's done, but we shouldn't idolize him and put him at the top of everything. And now the most ridiculous thing is all the protesting. All your doing is making yourself look like a complete A-rod, smashing building windows, cars (To the point of even setting them on fire) and more. I think the overall lesson that should be learned here is that the nation needs to come together and not be divided like it is. And yeah, I voted for Trump and I support pro life etc. So now I will allow anyone on here to flame me for such beliefs if they wish, I don't give a shit.
As much as I strongly dislike President Trump, I seriously don't wish him to get killed at all (no matter how much of a scumbag he is). If anything, impeachment is ethical and moral enough to remove him from office (but even then, I doubt he'll get impeached unless he does something that forever damaged the country).
