This pandemic will be Trump's biggest challenge. Obama was able to recover from the great recession and build a good economy slowly but surely.

We'll see if Trump can do the same since numbers are reaching Great Depression level.

Never gonna happen as long as his party controls everything. Unpopular opinion but republicans are not good for economy.

Oh, I thought he was right in saying something about the aftermath. But yeah, he did nothing wrong, and there was no reason to call the cops. At this point, calling the cops should be considered something like an attempt to murder. Also:

The strong economy and lowest unemployment in years, and wealth for all just made it appear as if we were truly on the top of the world here.

I dont think the wealthy should be taxed more. If you earned it, you do deserve to keep it.

Are they really taxed more though? There is a slab on income tax so you can make the argument they are taxed less... The only part where they pay more taxes is property and estate tax, and that's cos middle class dont have properties or estates. If you remove those, their taxes are not high.

Now consider the other side of sales tax / consumption tax. Middle class and poor pay the exact same amount of tax that the rich pay, but they make way lesser, so if you consider those things, the rich are actually getting away.

I get the point of "you earned it, you deserve it". I am an immigrant and for a long time, i also felt that taxing us more is unrewarding for our hard-work. But that's just a part of the story.

Anyways, the problem with taxation is that its not done right, specially by democrats. California increased road tax which affects middle class more than it affects the rich, so sometimes taxation can actually increase the wealth gap.

They want to take advantage of living here and reap those benefits, but not actually pay into the system the same way every other working American does. You know, the Americans who work for the companies they run and make up the workforce they exploit with unfair wages and mediocre benefits to make their millions and billions. Interestingly, while they'll defend the wealthy and corps not paying taxes, they'll get mad at immigrants and undocumented immigrants for not paying, even though both groups pay.

I don't think Trump's account should be suspended as the president, but I'm glad they at least warned that the tweet breaks a rule even though they aren't deleting it. He's the president after all and uses Twitter extensively to communicate. I did though report a tweet of his talking about mail-in ballots being rife for fraud.
