4 out of 5 sections of keystone do not involve protected lands

Biden shut down 5 out of 5 sections, even the parts that hundreds of miles from any protected land

Now Biden is shutting down pipelines in europe under sanctions which could make the price of oil and gasoline in the USA even higher.

IDK

I will continue growing more plants than I know what to do with.

And try not to be a damsel in distress, who is relying on Trump to save him.

All I can say is we see the world a bit differently.
I wonder though, if you're white then that would explain it. I don't think even Indians understand oppression in USA the way Black Americans experience it.

Not to be pedantic, but war has been going on in Ukraine since 2014 and it happened in Georgia in 2008.

It's not just about "joining a club", there are geographical considerations at play too.
Which considerations? Georgia happened in 2008, as you said, and even then it can hardly be claimed that Russia did feel rightfully threatened. Russia can be angry about Georgia wanting to join Nato, but then I'd ask you why Europe has to accept Belarus joining CSTO and is not allowed to block that.
Russia bullied Ukraine long before Ukraine ever thought about joining Nato or EU, it is something russia does, no matter what its former satellites do about nato or EU.

Transnistria predates Georgia, too. The point here really is: Russia has no say in who joins what club. The only reason people even pay attention to it is BECAUSE Russia is aggressive. No Nato or EU nation was ever aggressive towards russia, the encirclement claim is purely made up.

Why would Nato countries being located around russia (and let's be honest, most countries on that continent are located somewhat near russia) be a threat to it when it already borders to nato countries? What legitimate or rational fear does russia have here? It is not like Nato had heavy arms and troops in any nato country near russia. Not in the baltics, not in Poland.

You cannot say that nato is culpable here just because they didnt tiptoe around russias insane short fuse more, so much that it borders to absurd.

LOL. It isn't "changing the topic" to point out how it never was the topic to begin with. NO ONE has said that Russia was on the verge of being invaded or attacked.
Yes you are, everytime i ask you for concrete points or evidence, you are changing the topic or just misunderstand what i even said.

We were talking about russia having absolutely no reason for invading ukraine (leave alone the bullshit about 'protecting' someone).
Every country around Russia sees what Russia did as hostile act without any precedent inside europe.

Isn't that curious? Even countries that are historically friendly to russia and are dependent on it sanction it to the ground. Maybe Russia is in the wrong, or even doing something insane and imperialist while having a fascist leadership and THAT is why the EU and the US are worried and sanction it?
--- Double Post Merged, ---

How are you going from me calling you a Zionist (if I remember your stance correctly) to Ukraine and Russia? Many anti-Zionists called out the hypocrisy of Israel supporting Ukraine when Israel literally is doing what Russia is, against the Palestinians.
Because Ukraine and Russia is the topic here and that has little to do with the conflict in Palestine. Equating those two conflicts with each other is already pretty absurd. At that point you can equate every conflict. Then let's equate conflict in palestine with the rome vs kathargo wars or s th.
There is absolutely zero need to change the topic here.

But you're not understanding the issue with that. You're implying I'm on Russia's side, despite the fact that I've made it clear that I'm not.

And it's not that absurd, especially not in the way people react to those conflicts. The Western media has brainwashed people into supporting Israel while being against Russia because CoMmUnIsM, though this doesn't count since Putin is actually in the wrong.

1.- I think we can all agree in that US foreign policy has been shit over the past 80 years and it in no way helped to the current situation.

2.- Military threats to russia are entirely made up. There's zero evidence that nato is a security threat to russia. No one in the planet has a shred of evidence that any nato member has been or is planning an attack to russia (though it's pretty much true that proxy wars has been fought between these powers in other places). This is about russian interests which compete with NATO-US-EU interests. Ukraine was coming closer to EU than to russia in the past several years which was simply an inconvenient truth to russia. This specific war at this point in time is specifically about russia preserving it's precious power and influence in the region.

NATO is not a military threat to Russia, it is a cultural threat. Putin is deathly afraid of Russia or any former Soviet satellite embracing too much Western values, since he believes this will lead to a change of leadership.

Look here at the sheer hypocrisy. Despite people being objective on the matter and bring related topics to the current Russia/Ukraine conflict, Shonloiopro tells us to stay on topic and not equating other conflicts with the current one.

Because Ukraine and Russia is the topic here and that has little to do with the conflict in Palestine. Equating those two conflicts with each other is already pretty absurd. At that point you can equate every conflict. Then let's equate conflict in palestine with the rome vs kathargo wars or s th.

But when Israel-Palestine war was raging back in 2021, He was telling us to talk about other wars and stop focusing on Israel only, and stop being anti sematic. <_><_><_><_><_><_>

look here

But oddly you do not talk about that 'scum'. Only about Israel. Why?
Because it is quite a common conflict. Israel is not more an invader than the saudis in yemen, than the turkish in kurdish regions, than russia in ukraine, than azerbaidschan in naghrono karabach, than morrocko in westsahara.

But all these conflicts do not matter to you. Because these 'invaders' are not jewish.

Pretty laughable at this point.

Most Israeli people aren't even a Semitic people. Israel's attitude towards the Palestinians (of which used to be a large Christian population for anyone keeping track, as if you have to qualify them as anything other than Muslim for their lives and territories to matter) is antisemitic.

Another co-opted, stolen word to be used like a cudgel. Up is down and black is white.

To me the comparison between this conflict and the israel-palestinian one is... awkward at a bare minimum. At the time this made the news cycle israel was getting attacked. Missiles were being fired at it. And the response from israel was, welp, brutal (and disproportionate). Both of them are overtly hostile towards the other. In this case, ukraine has not attacked russia. No one in the planet has a shred of evidence that it or nato posed any sort of military threat to russia. No sane person believes they could have conceivably attacked russia. This whole thing is merely an excuse to preserve russian interests in the region.

I don't think Russia feels that way. Especially given the geographical implications of NATO encirclement. The issue there is the notion that a "military" threat is the only thing that would garner a military response. Clearly that's not always the case.

Interesting, because you just described what has been happening in the Donbas region for almost 8 years. That's very similar to the back and forth you describe between Palestine and Israel.

NO ONE HAS BEEN MAKING THE ARGUMENT THAT RUSSIA WAS GOING TO BE ATTACKED.

This is about the 5th or so odd time that straw man has been erected and attacked.

I think the comparison to Israel-Palestinian conflict is also awkward. But I also think the obvious difference in attitudes towards the Ukrainians vs the Palestinians is quite conspicuous.

It's only awkward if you disregard what's been happening to the separatists.

"Israel was getting attacked"

Israel are the invaders and getting attacked is to be expected by the owners ( Palestinians), Acknowledging that they are not similar is condoning Israel as invader.

but.. that is russia's excuse for this. An alleged military threat to it. Which no one has a reason to believe is the case.

I'm not one that's subscribed to the Russian side claiming "genocide" as an excuse for the invasion, so...
