I forgot the specifics, but someone summarized the "data gathering" as Biden's team asking Twitter to remove nudes of Hunter (circulating nudes without permission is a no-no anyway) and Elon exposing Twitter being biased towards Trump or something rather than Biden. I forgot how or what but yeah. Elon is lying and twisting facts. Or did Elon accidentally expose Twitter being partial towards him?
Hmm, if you read the information posted by that reporter (forgot his or her name) then it's kinda hard to argue any bias twitter folk might have had was against democrats. It's not quite as one sided as elon would frame it even when explained by his people though. The hunter biden latop thing is one of the focal points of the twitter files and whatnot but they also mention just in general contact with democratic and republican politicians asking to not circulate certain stories. It's by no means exclusively about hunter biden.

Hmmm, I would actually frame twitter's bias as being pro establishment. Musk definitely has more of a right wing thing going on. Most of this is a clown show to try to make people musk dislikes look bad though his twitter files are not exactly smoking guns so far. And it's not like musk would support any legislation or policy to fix any issue he finds or exposes.

So the twitter files continue... And... mostly seem to lack anything of note? Mostly just twitter employees dealing with developing and increasingly complex siutuations... There are a few bits that caught my attention though.
All of which would be whatever and potentially interesting if these "drops" were actually evenhanded in any way. Or if instead of making it into an attention-whoring spectacle, Musk just dropped all of the data at once.
But this entire situation isn't designed around the concept of transparency, it's designed for Musk's cronies to fawn over him even more.

Hmmm, I would actually frame twitter's bias as being pro establishment. Musk definitely has more of a right wing thing going on. From what I've seen though, it's definitely biased towards the right. They're quicker to ban minorities who defend themselves against bigots than they are to suspend bigots. I've seen Palestinian activists be suspended/banned quicker than homophobes and raging misogynists.

I don't doubt that musk is doing his very best to frame all of this stuff in the most favorable light towards him, basic decency be dammed. Though that's probably more of a reason to look into what little of this is actually interesting.

Billionaire's political views don't really matter. Their stated beliefs can vary wildly compared to what they actually do with their money and influence. Musk himself has stated being in favor of some pretty lefty ideas, like UBI, etc. Is ostensibly pro science and research, and yet he still entertains and spurs on complete mindless nonsense.

He changed site policy because he decided he no longer liked the twitter account tracking his private jet. The issue is real-time flight tracking information is protected by the first amendment. So you're either a free speech absolutist like he enjoys cosplaying as, or you're a hypocritical clown like he actual is.
