Yep. THe amount of innocent people that could have been alive had cops been punished and unable to find a job as a cop anywhere. Instead, they can go to a new precinct and likely get a job for whatever reason.

They actually handled it well this time. They arrested him without bail and are charging him with three different charges including first degree murder. He's cooked, IMO. They also released the body cam footage fairly quickly. I recall for George Floyd it took a long time to get that.

It's horrible that someone who has a DUI and has been through 6 or so police jobs in 4 years can still find gainful employment in the police force. IMO any sort of non-minor violation should disqualify someone from ever being a cop. Especially DUIs.

The craziest thing to me is that things that are ammunition against Democrat candidates are buffs to Republicans. The expectation around Trump is already that he acts like a wild man-baby. He gets a boost no matter what he does. Democrat candidates cannot do things like argue over who would win at golf in a debate, or who has the larger penis, or talk about how many girls they've hooked up with.

Imagine you're in a trial by elimination job interview and you get into it with another candidate talking about who can run the fastest... It's ridiculous that that's essentially how the "interview" for the top position in the USA went.

Trump's "man-baby" ways are what help him get support from the voter base though, even if his conservative allies don't approve. His cult finds that funny, so he can get away with it as often as he likes. Democrats have higher standards held, thankfully, as do most other republicans. Trump may have made the election process a joke, but he was able to do that thanks to republicans and his cult.

It's a Christian thing and it's super common, at least among Black folk and southerners. Saying something in Jesus' name is supposed to give it more power than just praying for it. Rebuking something is denying or rejecting it. When something bad is going to happen to you it's essentially seen as Satan impeding your walk with Christ and as a Child of God you can invoke Jesus' name like a curse against any manner of misfortune.

My mom tried it while my older sister was on her death bed with breast cancer.

The way I see it...

1.- Anything Trump does is done in bad faith.
2.- My point was not about Biden's statement.
3.- Biden is still the same bumbling potato we saw at the debate and has been like that for months. A confused old man should have been 25th months ago at least. The party has been brazenly and shamelessly lying about Biden's health.

Doesn‘t change that Biden doesn‘t acknowledge his mental decline, nor do people at his side. As much as I agree with you that he‘s not doing well mentally, we don‘t know the extent of it, what he can or cant do, so Trumps comment is simply a headcannon that you‘re following. He may be fine for both campaigning and being president, but know he can‘t do 4 more years of it, or just be able to properly do one of the two.

Just very disingenuous to take it as „he stepped down because he is mentally unable to campaign“ and then make followup thoughts based on that. Most likely he quit the campaing because of what his party wants as implied by his statement.
